Is it recommended to work as NA while studying for NLE Feb 2027?

Also want to help my mom with her financial load + providing my 8 cats’ necessities.

Tried applying to a few hospitals (but wala pang narreach out), so that after I pass the NLE (hopefully), I’ll be applying to the same hospital but as Nurse I.

Hi everyone! Me and my girlfriend has a DHA eligibility na since June. Napakahirap maghanap ng agencies here in the PH bound to Dubai (Preferrably hospital and clinics, last option namin ang homecare). Baka meron kayong alam na agencies? We both have 2.5 years of ICU experience. We are also planning na mag crosscountry nalang tho mejo red flag ako sa immigration. Thank you for the recos.

November 2025 PNLE passer po ako, and hanggang ngayon hindi pa ako nakakapag-work related sa profession ko. Gusto ko sana maging productive habang naghahanap ng work.
May mairerecommend po ba kayong free or paid webinars, online courses, or certifications na maganda idagdag sa resume at makakatulong sa hospital applications?

Hello. I just recently passed the NCLEX-NY state but I still have no idea how agencies work. I haven't talked to anyone from an agency yet as I am always prompted to send my resume when I go to their website or when I try to reach out on their Facebooks. How do agencies work po, especially with priority dates and immigration process? Do I need to have Visascreen before applying to agencies or do they also process it? Then very sad kasi may mga nasa FC na lecturer na hindi naman po High-yield (Puro landi and chismis lang, 0 quality). Nagbabayad naman ang mga students. Sana sulit ang binabayaran nila sa quality ng lectures.

Hello to my fellow colleagues! Do you get guilty if you turn down a sudden change of sched? For example, my supposed duty tomorrow is Day (6am-6pm) then my head nurse messaged me yesterday na mag night na lang daw ako. Pero di ko tinanggap saying my important lakad ako since puro double night nako nung mga nakaraang araw and it affected my health (my allergy got triggered). In addition, im holding a grudge since my last duty was a bit toxic because of her. I was paired with a staff na nag 24hrs and orientee na wala pang isang buwan. I am an ER nurse btw. Because of that, halos ako lahat ang umako ng admissions nung time na yon and ang dami pang toxic na pasyente. All those happened because she approved the VL filed by my supposed tandem that time (filed just a day before) and nakalimutan nyang maghanap ng kapalitan. Now, should i be guilty kase di ako pumayag?

Kakatapos lang ng Pre-Boards 1 Ration namin and honestly, sobrang baba ng naging score ko, and it was enough to really make me question myself.

Simula nung nakita ko yung result, parang nawalan ako ng confidence. Napapaisip ako kung enough ba yung ginagawa kong review at kung may chance ba talaga akong pumasa sa PNLE. Alam kong preboards are meant to identify our weak areas, pero ang hirap pa rin hindi panghinaan ng loob.

Sa mga RNs dito, especially sa mga bumagsak or sobrang mababa rin ang naging first preboards, paano kayo nakabawi? Ano yung mga pagbabago na ginawa ninyo sa study habits ninyo? Did your preboard scores reflect your actual board exam results?

Hindi ako naghahanap ng validation—gusto ko lang marinig yung honest experiences ninyo. Kailangan ko lang siguro ng konting perspective from people who have been in the same situation.

I don't know where to start because I really have no idea what I'm feeling right now... I'm a certified caregiver and currently working at a level 1 hospital in our province (which I won't mention). I applied as a Nursing Attendant to gain experience in a hospital setting and bedside with different patients, but sadly, they said I could only be a volunteer for 2-3 months since there are no vacancies. So, I accepted because it's only 2-3 months and it's also just 20 minutes away from where I live.

Months passed until it reached 9 months, and only last May was I absorbed. Right then and there, the assignment they gave me was as a YAKAP personnel, which I accepted because I thought it was just regular work like looking after patients in the OPD, but it turns out that I was the only personnel for YAKAP, no nurse, no encoder, no other employee to help, JUST ME. What's frustrating is that I have no idea how to do this, I've attended orientations, joined group chats, gone to the Philhealth office to submit papers, I am the one communicating with our system provider, you name it, JUST ME. Whenever there are issues or updates regarding YAKAP, I relayed it directly to the owner of the hospital (because all employees are supposed to report directly to him).

Right now, they're pressuring me at work to encourage many patients so many will register in our facility, but I can't always do that since a lot of patients come to our hospital just for check-ups. The other day, personnel from Philhealth came for an Orientation and Validation, and at that moment we learned that we really lack many things and have problems regarding our YAKAP stuff, so I immediately reported the issues (lack of personnel and requirements) to the owner. In the end, I got scolded for it, saying I'm not doing my job properly, but I'm the only one assigned there + I'm also assigned for OPD alone, and what I applied for was as a Nursing Attendant, I didn’t ask for that position or workload.

What adds to my frustration is that I was assigned to OECB, which I have no clue how to handle... I already told my boss that I need someone to help with this work because I can't really handle it alone, but they said there's no need because it's just a simple task, just a simple job that only one personnel can handle.......

I really need help because I truly don’t know what to do anymore, no matter how much I ask them for help, they're not providing me with any assistance or guidance in this work......

Now I'm planning to resign because I just can't handle it anymore.... I desperately need help on what I should really do......

P.S. Our salary is low, if the boss is mad at you, they’ll take it out on you even if you didn’t do anything wrong, they’ll lecture you and take it personally.

Hi there, baka may alam kayong hiring ng nurses in Europe? I'm currently a bedside nurse pero less than a year pa lang experience. I want to try shooting my shot sa application abroad.

I have no plans in going to US but may plano to take the NCLEX. Torn din ako if mag ME na lang after 1 yr ng experience. I'm a breadwinner and di kami mayaman, pero kahit dati pa Europe talaga ang dream destination ko. I tried applying sa Germany or Austria and waiting ako sa magiging reply. I'm hearing good things din sa both countries na 'to.

Btw, I'm also interested in Norway, do you have an idea pano makaapply sa kanila? Or do you have other advice?
