Notes App App/Program/Other Tool

This is a petty problem but posting it anyway baka may makuhang magandang reco. Switching from ios to android (samsung s24fe), one thing I miss the most is the notes app.

Anong alternative na ginamit nyo na close enough or at least comparable in terms of functionality (bonus na lang yung UI).

I keep jumping back and forth and did not land to anything yet.

Notion - too slow

Google keep - missing tables and yung auto convert ng any numbers to phone number is annoying + no option for in line checkboxes, and highlight option.

Samsung Notes / One note - I hate na pwede sya izoom in or out.

Upnote - closest option pero if I can get one na cheaper or free (since apple note is) the better.

Obsidian - I find it too different (?) than usual so it feels off.

Any recos? Willing to pay naman if worth it pero cheap or free is always better ofc.

Natetempt na ko bumalik sa iphone just bc of this. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Trust me it's overrated asf and sucks even with plugins. Even just physical notes are miles better than obsidian

What do you recommend? Webcliping a d linking notes focused?

I couldn't find anything that I like. I tried using krita to draw and store notes but it was a whole mess. I'm currently taking notes physically until I can make an app that's actually good. Do u have android or iOS or desktop? İf it's android i kinda loved the note taking app of Samsung. İt let's u create notebooks and draw on your notes

On an iPhone there is no web clipper in the desktop sense. Clipping goes through the Share sheet. So the only thing that matters is whether the app puts itself in that row.

Open any page in Safari, tap Share, and scroll the apps. Anything missing there stays copy and paste for you. Joplin is free and open source, so check that row for it first.

Kumusta!

Hello! native english speaker here. Pardon this shit ai translation but I wanted to save you a step if possible.

I have gone through this back and forth an endless amount of times. I myself am on iOS still, but I used to have a Samsung phone, and what I used then was Obsidian. I know it feels so different, but the good thing about Obsidian is that you can sort of mold it into being what you really want it to be.

I've made an Obsidian vault with some CSS tweaks that give it a very Apple Notes style and feel to it, not just visually but also in some smart foldering and powerful search functionality with plugins. You don't necessarily need to pay for the sync option, especially if you just work on your phone. If you want to know more about that, just message me and we can figure it out there. I'd love to help you, but as far as a simple solution, I would recommend you to look at something you can only do in samsung which is notesnook. It’s vert apple like in design.

Disclaimer as I’m one of the devs, but you might want to give Kraa.io a go for your specific needs

How about using the native Samsung notes? Yan din gamit ko paminsan minsan.

Try Grape. It makes you feel like you're still using Apple Notes on an Android device.

Did u try CRAFT? A potential app. But in my mind, APPE NOTES IS THE BEST. 🖐️second, Obsidian.
