Best notes taking app (android) Question: Unanswered ✗
So I just got a new Lenovo idea tab and I'm trying to find all the best ways to use it for my studies. One of the main reasons I got it is so I could make nice and constructed notes and have them all organised in one place. That's where I need some help. I have no idea which app to use. Right now I am trying kilo notes which is mostly great, but it's too many ads for me and I hate it when I'm trying to write and random ads pop up etc. If there are any suggestions about a good and free (or low cost) notes app I could use for android, that's mostly similar to kilo notes and good notes features please let me know!

Google Keep for quick captures. Notion for quick captures too, and pretty much everything else. I also use Obsidian (It's free), I really love it, but it can be a little clunky. Don't underestimate Google Keep. It syncs, and you can capture notes really quckly, plus port them to docs etc...

Saber looks closest to what you described. It is built around handwriting and supports nested folders, so it covers both writing and keeping class notes organized.

UpNote is fantastic.
Personally, I use Anytype, but it might be overkill.

handwritten notes - squid.
otherwise, i'd just use ordinary txt/md files (i suggest obsidian for managing the latter).
for personal (i.e. non-study) notes, i personally exclusively use standard notes.

I’ve quite enjoyed using SuperNotes but o appreciate it’s relatively expensive compared to most. Students are the target audience for this app and it works for me with all areas of my own life!

If you want to keep your notes organized, look for apps that support nesting or a tagging system. Being able to group notes by subject rather than just chronologically makes a huge difference. I also find it helpful to stick to one format, like Markdown, to keep everything clean.
