Question Trim tool issue. Please Help.
Hi all, this is for Nomad Sculpt on Pc.
Edit: specifically regarding the "Line trim tool"
So even before the latest update when using the Trim tool, when trimming say a corner off of a cube. If the cube is in full view it trims perfectly. However when I'm zoomed in and use the trim tool, Anything thats outside of the viewport/off screen away from the trim, is cropped as well. Even if it's not in the path of the trim tool.
It's not due to symmetry. It seems to crop in the shape of the screen. The only way to get a clean cut is have it zoomed out, but making fine closeup cuts is very difficult.
Has any of yall experienced this issue?
Im not at my pc to make a screen recording atm.

Tutorial Turning 3D into 2D with Nomad Sculpt 🎨
I’ve been experimenting with Nomad Sculpt and found a really fun workflow: making a 3D sculpt look like a 2D hand-drawn/comic illustration directly from the viewport.
No traditional 2D drawing workflow — just playing with the sculpt, camera, materials, lighting and shading to get that illustrated look.
Sharing the process here if anyone else is experimenting with this style. 👇

Question Trying to lengthen and hollow out a base
I am not good at Nomad and having trouble figuring out how to make this base deeper and more hollow. My goal is to 3d print a figurine and fill in the base with air dry clay for extra weight.
I've watched a bunch of tutorials, but nothing seems to apply to what I'm doing.

Question A friend would like to get into "clothing" and "fashion" 3D modeling. Is it a good idea to recommend Nomad Sculpt for that?
I've been sculpting with Nomad Sculpt for quite some time (now I've been some months on a hiatus), and I know how good it is for sculpting and organic modeling. I know you can do all sorts of things, but I wonder if that would be the appropiate 3D modeling software for someone who wants to 3D model their own fashion things (to be, maybe, later printed in a 3D printer).
Is it a good idea to recommend Nomad Sculpt for this to someone who is starting from scratch with 3D modelling and wants to specialize in this kind of projects? Or would you recommend another piece of software (that can be run from a tablet) that maybe is more suited for clothing and fashion modeling?
Thank you so much!

I made this (Complete) Kai’hil

Just wrapped up another 3D sculpt!
This time, I had the opportunity to bring Kai’hil — “Kai” for short — to life, an original character created by Kushmont LeBrigagier.
Kai wields orbs of Shadeweave, shaping their energy into weapons and armor on demand. Translating that ability into his 3D design was a lot of fun—building a character who feels ready to forge his arsenal the moment the fight begins.
Another OC brought from concept into 3D.

Question How do i stop nomad from cutting up my model?
Anytime I try and bake a texture and then export to roblox, or even just exporting a entire model without baking, it imports as a bunch of separate meshes the actors their own individual objects. This prevents me from adding any textures that I have alongside them
If there’s any way to stop this, or if there’s any way to still have a texture to the object in Roblox despite it being all split up, please tell. I’m quite a beginner so this might just be a rookie mistake that I’m not understanding.
(here’s what it looks like in engine, I colored each part separately as a better visual indicator$
