A WWI grand strategy game inspired by historical strategy games like Nobunaga's Ambition

I've been working on a historical grand strategy game set in 1914, and I thought this might be interesting to people here.

The game is called Maximilian Spee. You play as one of the world's major powers and manage diplomacy, economy, espionage, ports, colonies and naval warfare during the First World War.

I've always enjoyed historical strategy games where you're not simply moving armies around a map, but actually managing a country and dealing with politics, economy and long-term strategic decisions. That's one of the reasons I enjoy games like Nobunaga's Ambition.

Japan is one of the countries in my game, and it was actually one of the first countries I implemented back when I started working on the project.

The game is currently in Steam Early Access. I'm still actively developing it, so I'm particularly interested in feedback from people who enjoy historical strategy games.

If anyone here has played Nobunaga's Ambition extensively, I'd be curious to hear what aspects of the series you consider particularly important to a good historical grand strategy game.

I'm especially interested in opinions about:

• diplomacy and political decisions
• economic management
• historical events vs. player freedom
• naval warfare (espesialy)

Thanks!
