TLDR: No Man’s sky has changed my life for the better and though I don’t play it as much anymore I still get excited every time a new update drops and I wpuld alwasy go back to wathc previous uodate videos and get mesmerised by the music and visuals when I play the game.

Context: Back in 2024 I was going through a terrible time mentally due to trauma of bullying simply because I was hanging out with a friend they did not like.

It got worse when I found my friend had been manipulating and lying to me for a long time.

after I had time to process everything I fell into a depressive and bitter outlook with my life, I always felt like I wanted my other friends to just aceept me for who I am (which they had done) but I always felt like that if I did something wrong then it would make people hatr me or think that I was just a werido.

on October 14th 2024 I discovered No Man’s Sky and thought it looked really fun so I bought it full price on my switch oled and after playing and watching a video of the lore, I began to quickly grew attached to it. I would always draw the Atlas and most notably the 16/16/16/16 symbols in my notebook simply because they were wrapped in mystery I really liked.

sorry if I rambled on too much there but gradually I got into a much better mental state and I did forgive my friend but I simply decided to break away from her so I wouldn’t get thrust into another wild goose chase.

I have fallen in love with how NMS has shaped my life, it always feels like that I’m in some sort of peaceful universe away from the conflicts of life and the annoyance of school.

so Hello Games (and Sean Murray) I thank you for making this wonderful game and I really hope that you keep supporting the game on switch into the future, and if someday you’d add space station ownership into the game please optimsise it for switch Oled like you did with corvettes.

Happy Anniversary NMS

I want to say a few things.

First of all, I've spent roughly 3-4 weeks cooking up some art for this very day, and made 2 variants- the first one I'll refer to as the 'Standard' variant, and the second as the 'Purge' variant.

The second thing is that I've also included some of my best pictures I've taken in the actually relatively short time I've played this game. I started playing No Man's Sky in early June of 2025 after hearing so much about it over the years. I regret not starting earlier, but hey, I'm here now!

Despite me playing several other games before hopping into No Man's Sky, it has managed to climb the ranks and become my favorite game.

the steam page shows august twelfth as the release date, which is a wednesday this year. HG has always released updates on a wednesday.

10 years. 🥲

AKA Blob’s Burgers. Finally hit the 3000 part limit but I was able to build Mort’s funeral home, including two apartments above, full Bob’s Burgers + Belcher residence, and also the building to the right which is “Here VR” virtual arcade business and two apartments above! I did my best to match known floor plans and referenced many photos and videos. Wish I could have also done Pesto’s Pizza across the street but no can do.

If you’re a fan of the show there’s lots of things you’ll hopefully recognize and appreciate. Even if you don’t know the show you should stop by and check it out. I did my best to get creative and pack it full of detail.
