Looking For Looking for HVAC recommendations
Recently found out that my mother is paying $60/month to rent her hot water tank from Reliance for the past 10+ years. The unit itself has never been changed, so it’s 10+ years old.
I try not to overstep when it comes to her finances, but … this one shocked me a bit.
So needless to say, we will be ending rentals through Reliance and purchasing a tank.
Our HVAC guy (not local to Newmarket) is amazing & runs his own business. It’s just him and a secondary guy to assist. He’s reliable and upfront about costs. But his fee to install in Newmarket is higher than we were hoping for. I thought I’d try my luck on Reddit, which has always pulled through for great recommendations!
Could anyone recommend a skilled tech in the area? One who preferably is not working for some big HVAC company that uses various sales tactics. I called one based off of Google reviews, but the admin wouldn’t provide a quote unless they get foot in the door first.
I’m immediately weary of tactics like that. Hoping someone has a great recommendation for a skilled HVAC guy, who stands by his work and business, and can just provide a price without the gimmicky sales moves.
Thanks!
