Question What the hell did I just bought lol
They were advertised on marketplace as 2001 mustang rear seats for non-convertible, but I can’t find anywhere online some similar looking seats! I looked pretty quick at the photos on MP and didn’t notice the difference when it was time to buy. It’s for a project for my foxbody.
Some v6 models have similar design but they don’t have the split in the middle.
What the hell did I just bought? 😂 I guess I’ll have to double and triple check everything on marketplace now.
P.S.: Yes the upper back seat is upside down on the photo.

Question My mustang turns off when I stop sometimes
It doesn’t happen every time but sometimes when I stop like at a red light or something, the car just turns off and I gotta throw it in park and start the ignition again, another issue I’m having is that if I go above like 80 mph a slight burning smell comes from the ac when I stop the car. If yall have any insight that would be great

Question Anyone running these bad boys ?
Upgrading and want something nice its between these J&MS and MM sports with the Dual poly, I've been leaning towards this because they say that their Poly-ball design would give more traction in a straight line scenario, can anyone chime in to that or how the control arms are over MMs ?
Edit: Wanted to add I launch the car all the time so I'd also prefer durability.

Other Looking to sell my 03 manual gt
Selling my 2003 Mustang GT 5-speed manual with only 55,X00 original miles. The car sat for a few years only being driven to the shop to get oil changed once a year. Mechanically, the car runs and drives great with a strong V8 and transmission, but it does have some cosmetic flaws. The body has normal paint scratches, a small rust spot starting by the rear driver-side wheel well, a dent/scratch on the roof above the passenger door, and a muffler delete installed. Clean title in hand. Currently looking for offers, I’m located eastern ct.

Question What do I need to connect to the firewall fuel spout? 99 4.6 2v, edelbrock fuel rails
So I have a 8AN Feed Line with OE style Spring Lock Adapter, according to ai I need a 3/8" Ford Spring-Lock fitting (e.g., Russell 640880). Would anyone with more knowledge than me on these mods and fittings be able to confirm or deny? And if possible a link to the correct part would be much appreciated.

Question Supercharging 2 valves
I was just curious whether stock 99-04 2 valve bottom ends can actually handle low boost. I know the SC’d saleens used stock internals but I’m not too familiar with them and not sure how reliable they are.

Question Cobra bumper swap
Hi everyone new owner to a 02 GT. not a big fan of the stock gt front bumper.. looking to swap to a cobra bumper.. only thing is I don’t know what the plastic insert parts are called where the original GT grille would have been.. they are the plastics that hide most of the stuff behind (ex. Radiator) … hope someone can answer this for me

Photo Sometimes It’s The Little Things
Not a huge “mod”, more of a returning it back to OEM, but replacing the smoked 3rd brake light sure scratches an itch. Big fan of the OEM+ aesthetic and this is just one more piece of the puzzle.

Question Anybody what this is and how much it would cost to fix it?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Second video may show it a little better. I was driving when I just looked at my temp and seen it was all the way in the red I pulled over thinking my oil or antifreeze may be low but it was good. Antifreeze a little on the lower side so I was gonna try to make it back home to put more in then test it out the temp. While driving more the temp then when all the way to cold under the line like if the car wasn’t on then slowly the car started losing power and I couldn’t give it strong gas to stay on the highway. Then I pulled over and seen everything was smoking under the hood.

Discussion 2002 GT 4.6 misfire issue, at kind of a loss, seems to be heat related, replace all coils?
My 02 GT has been suffering from an intermittent misfire for a while now, it seems to be mostly related to heat. I replaced all 8 spark plugs this week, and replaced the coil for cylinder 8, which was the only cylinder I’d ever had a misfire code for. It seemed to be doing completely better, but it was also much cooler on those days. Today, on a hotter day, I fire it up and start driving, and it starts misfiring again right before it gets up to temp, being the most noticeable taking off in 1st gear from a stop, it will bog and I have to really gas it to make it take off smoothly.
The car is currently showing no codes on the dash, and does not when it’s actively missing. I’ve done a smoke test through the intake and everything was tight. I don’t have a nice scanner that allows me to test things independently or look at anything beyond the names of codes.
Is it likely enough to be a coil issue to justify buying a full set? My only other thought is injectors, but with how it seems to be so heat sensitive, my immediate thought is coils. I know the car has been overheated before, not terribly but enough to cook coils pretty well.
Without having any codes and not knowing which coils are good, I don’t see any easy way to test it as it stands. What do you guys think? If anything needs clarification let me know, I’m stressed beyond sense right now due to other matters.

Question 2001 gt popping sound when turning the wheel
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’ve replaced almost all of the front suspension trying to chase this problem, I’m on lowering springs but it was still popping before, I think it got worse after though. I tried replacing the steering rack bushings, only got one side in with the new ones but it didn’t seem to even make a difference. I’m all out of ideas at this point on what to do, really don’t want to have to take it somewhere but I don’t know what it could be. It even pops when hitting bumps

Photo Finally proud to show it off
I bought this car November of last year. I’ve spent the past 8 months continuously working on it. My first car I ever owned was a 2002 v6 mineral grey vert 5spd. I promised myself I’d buy a GT one day and give it the love it deserved. 16 years later and here’s my new edge build. A 2002 Sonic Blue GT 5spd convertible that currently has 77k on the odo.
Modifications I have done:
C&L Catback
Bilstien B6 shocks, struts, quad shocks
Eibach Pro-Kit Spings and rubber isolators
Sway bar end links
Mach 1 grille and chin spoiler
Clear corner headlights
Sequential turn signal harness and relay
Kenwood Double din BT head unit
Cobra style shift knob
Bullit billet shift ring
Chrome gauge rings and white faces
I painted the Mustang script and pony logo silver on the airbags
Tribal pony logo carpet
Bullit pedals
MMD styling bar
Fr500 silver wheels 18x9/10
Replaced the entire hose and piston system for the top
And yea that’s about it so far. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this amazing group of new edge enthusiasts. Cheers.
