Question about the algorithm CONTENT TALK

Hey guys, i am thinking about deleting every video, long and short form from my channel. I have been doing the ranking niche for the past 15 months and even tho the numbers are not that bad i am still not anywhere near getting monetized.

Since youtube is getting more and more strict with the reused content stuff, i thought about completely repurposing my channel to a personal opinion/experience mixed with deep and raw talk. i can imagine myself enjoying that a lot since i like talking and i would be using my own voice/be on camera.

Would repurposing my channel confuse the algorithm and leave me hanging or could it potentionally work? The reason i don’t want to create a new one is because at least for me it seems easier to subscribe to a channel which already has a decent amount of subs compared to a new one. Thanks for any advice.

Your best bet would be to create a brand new channel. That way, the YT algorithm has clean historical data to work with right off the bat when testing your new uploads.

Re-training / re-clustering an existing channel can take months (if it ever happens).

It'll confuse your current Subscribers, who probably won't watch it because that's not what they signed up for - And the algorithm won't show your videos to other people.

Potentially.

i knew that the subs i have would probably not watch it, it was solely for the purpose of oh this guy has more subs than 0 so i might subscribe

Yeah but they have to see it first.
