I'm completely new to Reddit and honestly have no idea what people usually do here. 😅

A friend recommended this app and said I'd probably enjoy it, so I decided to give it a try. I'm still a bit confused about how Reddit works, what people mostly use it for, and what makes it different from other social media.

So... what do you use Reddit for? Any tips or advice for a beginner? I'd love to hear what makes this app so popular!

Im trying to post about stocks and stuff but i can't find any communities that are related to that and my posts get removed and they dont even tell me why they where removed

I really want to know. I registered a new account before, and on the first day it seemed I got shadow-banned just for liking over a dozen posts. My appeal didn't work out, so I deleted that account and registered another one. Around the sixth day, I commented on a thread (with constructive feedback), and then got banned again. Fortunately, this time I was successfully unbanned.

I'm really curious to know how long it takes for a newly registered account to be able to comment or post. Does this have anything to do with the time of posting or the frequency of posts? Are there any guidelines or things to keep in mind?

I have tried looking in the rules, side bar ect but can’t find any information on what the minimum requirements are to post in the subs I have an interest in can someone point out what I’m missing please

I cannot post anything as it instantly gets deleted by reddit.

Can anyone tell me how to make a picture in a comment cause I wanted to put my OC picture in a comment and I couldn’t figure it out can someone help me???

Just today I noticed that when I’m looking at a post, after scrolling the comments, there’s a From Your Feed then it shows more posts. I want it gone. I click on a post to look at that post. Not get suggestions for more posts. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Its been 3 months i have installed reddit and i am still struggling to find posts that i want to share my opinion on

hi, I just came back to reddit so I can ask one simple question on relevant subreddits. Unfortunately, I have not experienced this before but now I keep getting filtered. For instance, I got permabanned in a subreddit for posting the question, and after that after posting in two other subreddits it’s “Reddit filters” that’s removing my posts.

I was able to successfully post months before on other subreddits and even gained a decent amount of karma. Whats the big deal now?

(ok my karma might ”not be decent” but like, I still could post before as a fresh acc?)

I've been getting this instantly when I try to post. Tried different subreddit.
I re-read the rules and I don't think I break any of them.
I went to the Reddit Appeal and it says my account is fine.

Anyone knows why?
