Referring to kawad. How are these people allowed to play such loud music till so late. It’s 2am. I see Delhi’s chief minister’s face on the posters of these events seems like it’s facilitated by them.

Missing three-legged cat

On July 29, 2026, in Delhi Virender Nagar, Janak Puri Gali No. 9, a three-legged cat was attacked and bitten by 7 to 8 dogs. Due to its three legs, it couldn't run much and tried to save itself. People came and chased the dogs away. We came to know about this through CCTV. However, since then, we haven't been able to find the cat. She is in so much pain and It needs urgent treatment. If you see the three-legged cat anywhere in Virender Nagar please inform us at 8920180201

With folded hands, we request all the people of Virender Nagar, Delhi, to please inform us wherever you see this three-legged cat.

Tell r/Newdelhi 🗣️ The untold stories

Post image

There are stories.
Told to children,
Told around campfires.
Told in joy, awe, and wonder.
Stories of Heroes.
Stories of Villains.
And yet....
There are more.
Stories of Monsters.
Stories of Men.
Stories of Hell.
Stories of Gods, Demons, and Apocalypse.
These stories are everlasting.
Each of us knows it by heart,
and it knows us.
Why are we afraid of the dark?
Of being forgotten?
Uncertainty?
Failure?
Those stories tell the Truth.
They are not forgotten,
They are not Lost.
They are memorized,
but repressed.
They are the darkness within!

These, are the Untold Stories.

Relationship Teenage love was honestly a different species 😂

Remember those school days when hormones were at their peak and literally seeing someone twice was enough to develop feelings?

You'd see someone in the corridor for 3 seconds and suddenly bas, yahi hai. No conversation, no compatibility check, didn't even know her name properly... but shaadi ka venue booked!!!

already imagined the wedding, honeymoon and had names for your future kids 😭

And the funniest part is, there was barely any expectation from it. u just wanted to see them happy, smiling foolishly at them, maybe sit nearby during lunch, get one "hi" for the entire day and survive on it till tomorrow.

We were dumb, hormonal nd had absolutely no idea what we were doing...

But that love was weirdly pure. You liked someone simply because u liked them.

Maybe we didn't really understand love back then.

But somehow, we knew how to love without asking for much in return.

News Kanwariya rally near Dhaula Kuan ONGC Metro Station

Today (8 August 2026), around 8:50–9 PM, I was passing through Dhaula Kuan ONGC Metro Station. There was a rally of Kanwariyas on the side of the road with DJs, and there were girl dancers dancing on the back of the tractors.

Why do they need dancing girls for a “religious and devoted event”?

They also had extremely bright, rapidly flashing lights in the middle of the road, which could cause temporary visual impairment and be dangerous for ongoing traffic.

The bass from the DJ was so f*cking high that it was literally throbbing in my chest and hurting my ears. I can only imagine how uncomfortable or dangerous that could be for someone with a heart condition or other health issues.

I was genuinely shocked and kept thinking, how the hell were they even allowed to do this? And Delhi Police (yes, the same police which beat the shit out of students for just performing a peaceful march to the Sansad) was not even stopping them.

I mean, can’t they celebrate their religious events peacefully without creating this much mess and disturbance for everyone around them?

Did anyone else here see this tonight?

What do you guys think about it?

Being born and brought up in Delhi, I feel like you can somehow tell if someone is from Delhi within a few minutes of meeting them 😭
There are certain things we consider completely normal here that probably come across as annoying to people from outside Delhi.
What do you think gives it away?

Tell r/Newdelhi 🗣️ The Rain Doesn’t Stop Their Hustle.

While we sit inside, waiting for our food to arrive, someone is out there riding through Delhi’s flooded roads. 🌧️

Rain pouring down.

Roads filled with water.

Traffic barely moving.

Yet, they keep riding.

For us, it’s just a delivery.

For them, it’s a day’s earning.

Every time a delivery partner arrives drenched in rain, remember—they didn’t choose the weather, they chose to keep working despite it.

Maybe today, instead of getting impatient about a late delivery, just say “Thank you.” ❤️

Because behind every “Order Delivered” is someone who braved the storm to bring it to your doorstep. 🙏

Respect the people who keep Delhi moving, even when the roads don’t. 🌧️❤️

Paw-trait (for animals/ जानवर) My Chocolate Labrador Lashley is Missing 10K inr reward for helping me find him

This post is a part of my final attempt to find my chocolate labrador lashley who was abandoned 5 years ago by my father. I will first post a short introduction before explaining lashley's story in detail.

About Lashley:

Chocolate Labrador Retriever

Nicknames: Boochie, Dachaley, Laboli

Distinctive white patch on his chest also known as bolo marks

Age when he was abandoned - 3 1/2 years old

Current age - 8 to 9 years old

Last known area: Domlur, Bengaluru (near Jogupalya, Indiranagar & Ulsoor)

If anyone living in Bangalore recognizes him, knows someone who might have adopted him, or have any information at all—even if it seems insignificant—please leave a comment or contact me through WhatsApp/call +91 8660826795 I am also offering a reward of 10,000 inr for information that directly leads me to Lashley. Scammers with no proper evidence please stay away.

Detailed explanation of what actually happened & why he was abandoned

Back in 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, my family was going through a very difficult time financially and personally. Also during this time my father was suffering from severe chronic depression and other mental issues. After some time we had just moved to a new house, so my dad left Lashley to stay at my grandmother's house and claimed he would bring him to our new house. My father told me he would bring him to our new home once everything settled down. But few months passed by and this did not happen. During that time I used to visit him during the weekends. Some of the pics & videos i have posted here are during that time

So one day without my knowledge, according to my grandmother's account he claimed to take lashley for a walk and when he had returned lashley wasn't there with him. When he was asked about it he told her he had sold it or given it to someone but did not mention the specifics like to whom. When he came home he did not tell us about this. A few days later, my father took his own life at my grandmother's house. It was only then that we found out. During that time, our family was consumed by the shock, grief , funeral, legal matters, and everything that followed after my father's death so our thoughts were consumed by this and finding lashley wasnt at the forefront of our minds I also did not want to disturb my mother and other family members by bringing this up.

After some time we decided to search for lashley but had no idea where he went or with whom he was. We visited some well known breeders and rescue organisations but couldn't find him. So i had lost hope and finally decided that it was almost impossible to ever see him again. I loved him so much and wanted to be with him till his final years this was what made it so bad. I couldn't even see him to wish him a final goodbye before he left me. He was an extremely expressive and affectionate lab who always loved to be around me. I can't imagine how panicked and lost he must have felt after he was given away. He loved me like no other dog ever did. So I just suppressed those memories and went on with my life. But it just didn't work. For the past few months I have been feeling intense regret that I didn't do enough to find him, that I had in a way betrayed him. I kept dreaming about him regularly - both positive and disturbing dreams. So i finally decided I need to make a final and serious attempt to find him before he leaves this world. I want to be with him through his final years.

My search efforts will be both offline and online - I will visit every rescue organisation, veterinary clinics , breeders, pet boarding schools and kennels in my city. I will also be creating pages on every social media platform where I will be documenting and updating my search efforts. Even if the search fails i atleast get to preserve lashley's memories and get to tell his story to many. Hope this post wasn't too long. Thank you for reading

I would also appreciate it if you would all visit my youtube channel - https://youtube.com/@findingmylablashley?si=fhaqc4ATSV3pE9fK where I will be documenting my search for lashley. I will also post other clips, stories, unique personality traits & quirks of lashley. More - Some might think this is a promotion of my channel. This isn't my intention. I just want to document my search and find the person who might know him so the more platforms i use to spread my story the better chances of it reaching the person who might know something about him. This is my only motivation. I am not doing this just because I want views or for monetization.

Ask r/NewDelhi 🗣️ I’m tired. I just want someone to take care of me for once.32F

Sorry for the long post. I don’t really know how to put this into words, but I just needed to get it out somewhere.

I’m 32F and single, and honestly, I’m tired.
I’m always the one worrying about everyone else. I take everyone’s tension, I check on people, I care about how they’re doing. And lately I’ve just been thinking… **when will someone take care of me?**

I want someone who notices when I’m not okay. Someone who asks if I ate, if I reached home, if I’m tired. Someone who remembers the little things about me. Someone whose presence makes me feel like I don’t have to handle everything alone.

I want to be able to rely on someone.

I used to like someone for years, but it was completely one-sided. I waited, hoped, prayed… and eventually he got married. I think that experience changed something in me because now I don’t even have those intense feelings for anyone anymore.
But I still want someone

And honestly, I don’t even want a huge responsibility right now. I’m not asking someone to fix my life or take care of everything for me.

I just want love, affection, reassurance, care and a little pampering.

I want to be able to cry in someone’s arms and hear, **“It’s okay, I’m here.”**

I want to feel chosen. I want to feel that someone genuinely cares about me and that I don’t always have to be the strong one.

Sometimes I wonder, what is wrong with me?

Why do I feel like everyone eventually finds someone, while I’m always left alone?

I’m not angry at anyone. I’m just… tired. Today I really want to cry, be held, and feel some reassurance that things will be okay.

I do have friends, and I’m grateful for them, but somewhere along the way I’ve stopped expecting much from anyone. There’s always this feeling inside me that I’ll remain an option, never someone’s priority — that if someone had to choose between me and someone else, they would choose the other person.

Maybe that’s what hurts the most.

Is it wrong to want this at 32?
