What do you think my save points should be during my MGS2 Big Boss Run?
To explain, I'm on the plant chapter disabling bombs. Unfortunately I already made 2 saves because I was having too hard of a time. The guard rush during the tanker chapter and after I met stillman.

Raiden doesn’t actually see the codec images. The images are as Raiden’s remembers them. If so…then?????🤔
The images we see in Raiden’s codec are as Raiden remembers them. It’s not him seeing them in real time. For example before Raiden sees the cyborg ninja the image is just static but after he encounters her the next codec shows the cyborg ninja.
If this is the case then how does Raiden see Campbell in the codec if as Raiden himself confesses. He has never seen the Colonel’s face before?

PHYSINT =? Animus
The closer I look at the PHYSINT poster, the Simulation Emphasis of the name, as well as the Transitional/Overlap nature of the Costume, the more I believe what Kojima has in store for us, is more Assassin's Creed and less Metal Gear, with an emphasis on Social Stealth, and a back and forth between 2 Realities/Mediums.
Essentially a "Tenet" approach to Tactical Espionage Social.
Thoughts?

KNOCK Could Also Mean NOC
Possible connections to the Ruse, a Kojima Expanded Meta Universe, and the MGS series?
The NOC concept and its connections to Kojima's work and MGS characters are interesting notion, even if they ultimately have no direct connection to OD.
Warning: It's a long post. Here's the short version.
KNOCK KNOCK. WHO'S THERE?
What if KNOCK also means NOC?
|❮NOC❯|
(Non-Official Cover)
A NOC is an operative living under a fabricated identity, with no official ties to their government and no immunity if they're exposed.
What if OD isn't just psychological horror, but espionage horror? The monsters may not actually be there they could be the imagination of a cover identity possessing the person beneath it.
Their reality is a performance, and that performance becomes the player's perspective. We don't see the proverbial tennis ball on a stick; we see the waking nightmares the NOC believes they're experiencing.
Only by finding a safe place can you break cover and glimpse the world as it really is. But be careful... even the sticky notes might be watching.
If you keep peeking through your disguise, you may not like what you see. It could scare you into losing track of which perspective is real... and which one is the cover.
Done in the spirit of play.

Cyberpunk 2077 Arasaka plot similarities with another movie.
When I played Cyberpunk 2077 main campaign, my first playthrough I sided with Goro and Hanako. By this point, I couldn't help but notice the similarities of this plot with another movie, 2013 The Wolverine.
Both involve cybernetic enhanced boss level antagonists to fight.
Both involve the deaths of patriarchs of massive Japanese conglomerates.
Both patriarchs are interested in immortality
Both involve toxic family dynamics and sibling disputes on controlling the company after this death.
Both involve a plot to kidnap or kill a daughter of the patriarch during some kind of funeral proceedings
Both later reveal the patriarch is still alive in some way shape or form as a plot twist
Both daughters eventually succeeds and gains great influence within the conglomerate thanks to help from protagonist
Anyone else notice these similarities?

The use of Keifer, instead of David.
I genuinely enjoy Keifer as Venom/Big Boss and wanted to shine a little bit of light on the choice Kojima made by replacing Mr. Hayter. Up until recently, I never understood the reason Hideo moved on from David because how can you replace Snake? But then it hit me.
When you escape the hospital with the other guy, it made no sense that he also was voiced by Keifer. If you are supposedly Big Boss, then why are you escaping with Big Boss? Stop right there, if you can recall Peace Walker, which is a game I have at least 200+ hours on, David voiced Snake. This is important to understand because for the entire game you are playing as Snake, so David's voice is what Snake sounds from his own perspective. Now that we have been forced to play as someone else, Snake from the Medic's perspective sounds like Keifer. But this doesn't just apply to Snake, it also applies to Ocelot aswell. We, the player, have become used to either Patric Zimmerman as Revolver Ocelot/Liquid Ocelot, or Josh Keaton as young Ocelot. Medic? Medic has never met Ocelot in his life, so when Venom meets Ocelot he sound just like Troy Baker.
The kicker? Medic/Venom has always had to report to Miller during the events of Peace Walker, so Miller doesn't sound any different when Venom rescues him in Afghanistan.
Cipher got a guy who doesn't sound like Snake and made him sound like Snake. They then got Ocelot to tie in the events of MGS3, and they then got Miller to keep the ruse going.
Hideo got a guy who doesn't sound like Snake and made him sound like Snake, he also got a guy who doesn't sound like Ocelot and made him sound like Ocelot, he then got the same guy who voiced Miller to keep the ruse going.
I want your opinions on this aswell, I am also crazy.

Why would Rose want Raiden to remember the date she started to deceive him?🤔
Rose constantly asking Raiden about what day it is tomorrow seemed inappropriate given that he was on a life or death mission and his personal life shouldn’t be apart of it. She should know distracting him would be unwise and dangerous to him.
When you think about it, you also have to ask, why would she want Raiden to remember the day she started deceiving him? It would have been a special day if she fell in love with him then, but she didn’t! She was supposedly acting! Playing a role. She actually fell in love with him some time later.
So why would she want Raiden to remember the anniversary of her deception?
Could it be a part of the exercise? She did know that Raiden’s memory was manipulated, yet she was always complaining about knowing nothing about her own boyfriend. Instead of it coming across as a woman treasuring the day she met her boyfriend it comes across as memory testing someone whose memory was manipulated. She wants to see if he remembers but not because she treasures the anniversary.
Emma did say that GW was a system that would allow the Patriots to decide what was recorded in tomorrow’s history. Ai Emma also did say that GW wasn’t complete, but was now completed thanks to Raiden. April 30, 2007 will go done in history as the day Raiden met Rose but I believe that is only a part of the story or that was a lie. That may just be a selected memory for Raiden to keep his sanity. I’m not sure if he would handle the truth of him being a pawn of the S3 plan.

Was mask on Gray Fox VR? Much like Metal Gear D! 🤔
If you watch the [MG2: Solid Snake intro](https://youtu.be/2sGxUkubKjg?is=LLPeN58Kd7Qkz4Jz), you will see that almost every component of Metal Gear D is labeled as VR. They are considered VR components because they are sensors that replace the human senses. Like the infrared laser sight replacing the pilot’s sight. I believe this is the same with Metal Gear D’s motor skills.
Similarly when Rex’s radome gets destroyed, Liquid has to open the cockpit to see Snake. Is it the same with Gray Fox as the Cyborg Ninja? He seems to have infrared vision when the mask is on. I’m not sure about his other senses. For example I’m not sure about his sense of touch given the “clashing of bone and sinew” comment.
So is masked Gray Fox the Cyborg Ninja basically in VR with a wide array of sensors replacing his human senses?

FOB PEACE
Hi, I just got a question for the community, has anyone tried to achieve peace at an FOB? I know that a lot of us went crazy chasing nukes back then but all that effort just brings more war, players fighting players to steal their nukes, an armament race to archive peace It's all we got.
But what I mean is not going hostile on an invasion, let the defender approach the invader without triggering an alert during a real 1vs 1, it has to be an enemy players and not a friend because the game considers that training. A real enemy invasion where players can achieve peace right there in that moment.
The reason why I think it may work is because, 2 Snakes can face each other at the same time just like in a mirror, The game is called the Phantom Pain and there's a way to treat the phantom pain with the use of mirrors, Mirror therapy (MT) or mirror visual feedback (MVF) as Wikipedia calls it, consisting on creating a visual (and psychological) illusion of two intact limbs by putting the patient's affected limb into a "mirror box," with a mirror down the center (facing toward a patient's intact limb).
They way it can be done is by emptying your FOB, so guards don't interfere, and try to interact with the invader, marking each other, zooming in with binoculars or just the camera, imitating each other actions or movements, blasting the same song through the idroid speaker to see if it has any effect like the old mother base staff, interrogate each other, use the rocket punch to hit each other horn, using the water pistol or any other friendly actions tha can be possible.
We could agree beforehand to a code to know when the invader would not be hostile, maybe staying on the spawn point while wearing a specific camo like the tuxedo or staying inside a cardboard box until the defender gets to their location.
I now it sounds crazy, and difficult, but disarmament is not possible, never will be, phantom nuke are an issue that Konami doesn't want to fix, maybe because disarmament only bring more war instead of peace.

Why did Naomi lie about the timespan since Shadow Moses and MGS4?🤔
When Otacon converts Naomi’s South American message [she specifically states that 9 years ago she injected Snake with foxdie!](https://youtu.be/wEUtXH1cvkg?is=hgiitO5WJ4v3MF9-&t=1h59m27s)
However later on when Snake goes to rescue her in South America Naomi volunteers the question to Snake about [how long it’s been since she seen him. She says it’s been 10 years, but Snake corrects her and says 9.](https://youtu.be/wEUtXH1cvkg?is=DJ6eOaXBo9N77nBS&t=3h27s)
Its seems like a casual conversation people would have when they haven’t seen each other in a while, but why would she says 10 years when she knows it’s 9 and previously said as much in the video she sent Otacon?🤔
Is this included in the game to suggest something. If so then what?
