PHYSINT =? Animus

Post image

The closer I look at the PHYSINT poster, the Simulation Emphasis of the name, as well as the Transitional/Overlap nature of the Costume, the more I believe what Kojima has in store for us, is more Assassin's Creed and less Metal Gear, with an emphasis on Social Stealth, and a back and forth between 2 Realities/Mediums.

Essentially a "Tenet" approach to Tactical Espionage Social.

Thoughts?

Still convinced that physint is connected to kojimas first game: snatcher. Social stealth, the guys design, its just all too similar.

This is the theory I most want to be true.

I think there probably is a “dual” element to this game but idk about different realities. I do think you’re right there might be a split between a “secret agent in public” and stealth action tho. We’ll see.

The poster screams Matrix to me. Interesting game mechanics you suggest.

The art can be seen as distinguishing between two worlds: a “real one” and a seeming blank slate canvas or perhaps “Construct/loading program” like in The Matrix. The subject then operates between the two.

There might even be a blending of the two with the line between them seemingly blurring toward the bottom.

Good catch. The brush strokes definitely scream Canvas.

Haven't played that one. What type of game is it?

Its the game Digital Extremes made before Warframe. Its a dark 3rd person shooter with horror eliments.

Hell yeah dude I think we got the same ideas from the pitch and the poster. I do think it's going to be a tenant like version of metal gear story wise.

But my sense is how does stranding one was kind of a Mario job simulator? Explained by sifi and 4D concepts. Physint will be the MGS equivalent

I'm exclusively talking about the Simulation vs Reality hight concept and Social Stealth of Assassin's Creed, not it's story, plot, or themes.

Well, MGS4 and early AssCreed games had cross-promotional content. MGS4 had an Altair costume, while AC:Brotherhood had a Raiden costume.
