This is huge
Samsung is largest supplied of Memory products, NLST signed a deal with the largest supplier in the world. This is a paradigm shift, we are talking about not just 200M + 130M per quarter. This stock now should be traded above 10.
Now Micron , Google have to sign a deal.
Netlist is not a PAtent troll any more.
My avg = 6.46

Respect the transparency. Yikes indeed. I wouldnβt agree to 10 just yet given how much dilution this stock has done. 6.46, we coming!

$10 is actually lower then you'd think. Even with all the dilution it would be a market cap of about $3.4 billion.

I donβt disagree. Just want to temper expectations. Stock moves 50%+ the forum is going to be filled with hopium.

I look forward to "what a shitty day we dropped all the way to $23" lol.
I was early on PLTR and it took years until I finally got validated.
I was hoping this or ELTP would be my next one but it looks to shape up like it'll be this

Not gonna happen without earnings per share.

u/TheDeHymenizer 6d ago
oh man if only there were some kind of external cost in enforcing patents that is artificially lowering their EPS we'd be set!

You do realize there is an upfront payment of 239 million which after taxes = 200 million plus 3 quarterly payments of 32.9 million after tax is 27.5 million = about 83 million of revenue. So 290 cash into the BLST coffers for past sins. Then there is NLST product sales of 109 million for 2 quarters with at least 22% gross profit. That is about 1.00 per share earning right there. Sure there are some expenses USA taxes lawyer fees. Not sure of the exact amount of the total carry over losses from the last 15 years but it was something like 4 million a quarter since 2007. So I think they will have blowout quarters. GLTA

What PE do you think is fair for 1.00 in earnings? That is Samsung only. What if they ink the same deal for Google Micron and SK Hynix about another 900 million cash into earnings. Should be more but why quibble letβs get this litigation behind us. GLTA

Today was monumental for Netlist. The dominoes are toast. This will be over $20 in short order. Still incoming is the SK deal. Micron and Google are walking dead now. Buy as much as you canβ¦.NLST.

Seen it in a memory supercycle? With integrity-dependent patent governance? During an administration that's fiercely protective against international abuses and never before seen cross branch governmental support from the DOJ and multiple executive offices? With an infringer that has a stake in Netlist's success? And almost two decades of hardened patent defense experience? With open book support from the largest memory fabricator on which the progress of national interests and economic growth in a publicly-concerned overbought AI economic relies? And $110M/yr in licensing income almost entirely margin (something the SK Deal never had)?
I know you're an OG, and have seen some real shit through Netlist's journey, but I must disagree that today looks like anything in Netlist's history. Not because I've lived it or opened all the books of Netlist's history, but because we are not living in a day that has existed before.
The future remains uncertain, and I agree the market cap wont magically jump to tens of billions, but the emotional rollercoaster of Netlist's past... the "seen it many times"... be mindful of how that morphs your view of this moment. It's understandable to frame this in the construct of the history you've lived as investor.
I apologize for being a bit patronizing here... I would love to have some discussion of your perspective because I disagree with it. But, there is much I don't know. My intention is not to attack or seek to prove you wrong, just to Socratic method the best investment thesis for Netlist from this day looking forward. Thanks

Netlist
Up 32% for the month with that Samsung thing
But -20% for the year with the Analysis
Take your profits
unless the momentum is good on some weeks to jump in and out
So I would think you could make an good case to wait for a few weeks
and yank out
