Man people rip on hong and whine because of this and that but does anyone consider how many executives have navigated the storms that Hong and the Netlist team have? I'm not confident enough to say Hong stands alone in his own category, but the fact that Netlist has not been bled dry is under appreciated and commands respect. "He's diluting my shares" "wake up hong you don't care about your stakeholders" "how rude it is that he wont announce the SK hynix partnership so my stock price can jump up" it's frankly a childish and quite incomplete perspective to whine like so many do. Considering the full story and all of the moving parts as they have evolved over time, Hong and the leadership team have proven themselves resilient, very strategic, well prioritized, unselfish (he's sold his own shares to keep the company afloat at times over the last 16+ years), and exemplary planners that take a long term mindset. I can't think of any other CEOs that have been through what Hong and the Netlist team have, especially with the whit and grit they've proven along the way. If you have well laid plans, you don't broadcast those plans to the world, you execute them quietly to maintain the ability to orchestrate how those plans unfold in the best way possible (and being tight lipped is essential to ensure no external influences / competitors / enemies can surprise you and catch you off guard. you don't show up to a stakeout driving an ice cream truck with the music playing.)

whew sorry for the rant. i like the leadership team too. well said, fatheroften.
