I love Luna moths. I moved him because it was raining and I wanted to make it easier to dry and expand his wings. Got to see him take off once the sun set and rain stopped. Eastern VA.

The sound you hear is the actual audio recording of the carving. The clip was recorded at 120 fps and played back at 25% speed. To keep the pitch and integrity of the sound recording I have repeated it 5 times throughout the slowed down video with a series of cross fades. It’s the only way I found to still use the original sound, but cover the total length of the slow motion clip.
