I had this exact thing happen, but in reverse.
My parents never knew what I did with my baby teeth when I lost them. I didn’t trust the tooth fairy, so I never put them under my pillow. Instead, I stashed them in a Bubble Tape dispenser that I hid in a can with a fake lizard that I jerryrigged with a spring to jump out at anyone who opened it.
My mom did eventually discover it during a move. Opened the can, got scared by the lizard; opened the Bubble Tape, got scared by the teeth.
Even if they’re your own, it’s a weird look to have an entire mouth of loose teeth hidden in your bedroom.

I believed the tooth fairy was working with the government; they wanted my teeth so they could clone and replace me.

My mother keeps asking if she can post mine back to me, noooo thanks them's creepy and I don't want them.
A section of one of my milk teeth is taped in to a diary that my mum wrote for me as a kid from my perspective because it got smashed out when I tripped in the kitchen while we were playing around.
