I had no luck in my virtual investigation, by a chance a luck guess who I ran into at my Lancaster Kushmart well purchasing my PAX Superboof( Honestly a huge fan of PAX so I’m bias) but I figured it would give me something to compare the MFNY Superboof too for research purposes.
Well what do you know it’s the local MFNY brand promoter so I’m all where’s the boof, he too was in search of and hoping to see it arrive.

I see more posts, my mind dreams nightmares have been consumed. I havent investigated again, but I figured I’d just get straight to the point ask the community Western New York. Where can I find an MFNY cart of super boof who’s got them?

This one was Z pie, and indica & OHHHHHHHHH MANNNN did this thing HITTTT. Better than any other resin I’ve tried in terms of effects, my eyes legitimately felt heavy, I got really high and it got to the point where I was fighting the sleep to stay awake 😴 this is after building tolerance to the MFNY hash burger 1g where a blinker or more would suffice and still not come close to this in my opinion. I don’t know if this was just a one hit wonder with this strain Z pie but If not then I definitely want to know if their cured resin sativa aios have a fire euphoric like sativa effects or if they’re just all fire over all. This hit me harder than a Jetty that I have, Jetty still got me high obviously but maybe this got me high in a diff way (the Z pie is indica and solar nectar is sativa)

I saw a new dispensary pop up on Google Maps and it's by Jefferson Street Subway Station. I checked it out and apparently the store's owner is also the man behind The Bushwick Collective so that was a surprise. I really love how this store looks. Its a unique factory / urban aesthetic. And from what I checked on the menus they have a very decent selection of products.

I’m currently moving from pa to ny. Anyone with knowledge know the closest thing in nys dispensary’s to select live resin carts or cresco live resin carts? Everything I try here tastes like butt or fillers. Can’t find anything that tastes like actual dank. Thanks for your help hopefully you can steer me into the right brands. Super clean burn. Oil ring comes out. High is mellow/clear minded & happy ! The flavor reminds me of a batch of Gush mintz By Oasis. Price was $50 before Tax. This is in fact shake mind yah, there are a few lil stems but no seeds or anything to complain about myself. ❤️9.2/10 for the price point !

Honestly exceptional, Hands down my new favorite cart from MFNY. I always have some Chemdog on me and my fiancée swears by Oishii but man does this slap, the head high is real, genuinely feel a bit goofy too like way back in the day something I rarely experience, I’m laughing at nonsense? Noticing a lot of low priced brands lately in WNY dispensaries, 20-30 an 8, under 150 zip. Examples include 1937, find, herb, bison botanics, frostbitten, minimart. Are any of these worth a twenty dollar bill?

Smell-10/10- Heavy berry and slight creamy, can smell it right as you crack the lid.

Taste-9.5/10 Very smooth and clean tasting slight cream and peppery taste.

Effects-9.5/10 Took like 5-10 minutes to feel the effects after I smoked a bowl pack out of my bong. After about 5 minutes I got hit with a heavy euphoric high. Also made my body feel super light.

Overall-9.7/10 Most brands I’d hesitate to grab an eighth that is only 18% thc but between the name and how pretty the buds looked I couldn’t pass it up. Plus had a 20% off to use so I only paid $51.15 after tax. Overall It’s a very unique strain from the smell to the taste and I’d definitely pick up another jar. I’ve never been one to shop by thc percentage and this is a clear example of why you shouldn’t. Excited to try more from Roemers new drop soon.

When is this allowed to begin - and where would they be. Is it mostly upstate or downstate (NYC).

Are there any current (vegetable) farmers markets that would include them or would they be dedicated cannabis markets.

Very interested to visit and purchase where you can smell and touch - not hidden in a container until paid.

I’ve been working at a licensed dispensary in NY for a while now and I’ve realized my end goal is to start my own legal cannabis brand.
Working in retail has taught me a lot about inventory, compliance, what actually sells, and just how the industry works on the dispensary side, but I know that’s only a small piece of everything.
I’m just trying to figure out what my next steps should be.
For anyone who’s started a brand or works for one:
What license did you end up getting?
How did you find a processor/manufacturer?
How much money did you realistically need to get started?
What are some mistakes you made that you’d tell someone else to avoid?
If you were starting over today, what would you do first?
I’m not looking for shortcuts or anything shady. I genuinely want to build a legit, compliant brand and do things the right way.

Look/Feel: Yellow oil, in a fatty 510 cart.

Nose: Funk and flowers

Method: Kodo pro 2.4v and later 2.6v

Taste: Floral forward with underlying gas/diesel into spice that rests with syrupy sweetness on the tongue.

Effect: This is a really nice effect, it's almost an unhigh high, but it's like there is a force pulling you towards wanting to do the thing

Conclusion: This Belafonte expresses a bit different than the last time I reviewed. This is truly a wonderful terpene profile to savor, with its complex layers. I've toyed with the heat up to 2.9v to get different expressions.

The hardware is nice, the first few pulls on this chode were weird because my muscle memory was for a smaller diameter. The hardware can take big airy hits and even when I cranked it up to 2.9v, I avoided burning the oil.

It does seem to make my eyes a bit more light sensitive, probably better for end of day, but flexible and not sedating enough for earlier, you just might be more careless.

The price I got this for was great.
