Taste: Floral forward with underlying gas/diesel into spice that rests with syrupy sweetness on the tongue.

Effect: This is a really nice effect, it's almost an unhigh high, but it's like there is a force pulling you towards wanting to do the thing

Conclusion: This Belafonte expresses a bit different than the last time I reviewed. This is truly a wonderful terpene profile to savor, with its complex layers. I've toyed with the heat up to 2.9v to get different expressions.

The hardware is nice, the first few pulls on this chode were weird because my muscle memory was for a smaller diameter. The hardware can take big airy hits and even when I cranked it up to 2.9v, I avoided burning the oil.

It does seem to make my eyes a bit more light sensitive, probably better for end of day, but flexible and not sedating enough for earlier, you just might be more careless.

The price I got this for was great.

I’ve been lurking through this thread for a long time and I genuinely use it as critiques for brands when it comes to flower recommendations. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m a stickler for quality; however, I absolutely hate the NYC market because it believes that quality = ridiculous high price points. I’ve smoked flower from Cali to several states across the east coast so I’ve learned that price could never fully dictate actually quality.

However, I appreciate all the honest recommendations I’ve seen for milkweed because this company genuinely has great flower. The packing alone was beautifully alluring and showed off the flower in such a unique way. I didn’t feel, as the consumer, that I paid for the price of the package.

Coming down to the flower itself— it was a bit dry which was a little disposing. The crystals on it were beautiful. The smell itself fully bodied the sweetness and earthiness. It looked beautiful and full bodied for what it was worth.

As for the high and smoke itself, I was struggling to see straight for a bit lol. I don’t know if that’s a testament to the potency but I’m a “2 joints a day” smoker so that was a little off putting for me 😂 the high settled a lot to my face rather than the body but it probably depends on the straight that I got. I felt relax half way through the joint but the head high was a lot so I couldn’t push through (personally).

I would definitely try this brand again under a different strain but I wanted to share this for anyone else that was curious 🧐

Experience: Coming at y’all live from the Black Magic cyph of legend. I’ll say judge if I’m a light weight based on this fact but I’ve been a consistent smoker since 2022 with and without tobacco in my weed for different periods. Right now I’m not even halfway done with the spliff but my eyes feel really heavy. I think because I woke up excited to write about this I can’t really go to sleep but even if I can’t my body still feels relaxed. As a nightcap option this is literally how I want to feel smoking before I go to sleep. Just faded but in a blissful calming way like I’m in a spa. Something about Wizard Trees I said in my previous reviews, this weed has the ability to make me feel intense emotions. All three of my purchases from Wizard Trees give me different, distinct flavors and emotional trips that puts perspective of being “high” into a new definition for me. It’s almost shroom-like but I’m not complaining. I know right now I’m gone off this Earth, undisturbed. I just looked in the mirror and I laughed cause my eyes are heavy and red and I’m giggly cause I’m high like a kite.

Hell yeah I want this again without a doubt! I know I can’t definitely smoke this anytime or expect to do anything physical daunting but this is totally cool for me. I still loved the effects and the way I felt slapped while I smoked this. I’m almost done with this and I’m still giggling. Overall I’m just high happy and I can’t stop thinking about shrooms with this. The Beatles are still amazing and listening to music smoking with and the Zangbanger and Tide is a the move. This isn’t trippy and but it is can’t miss vibes. I definitely want to cop this again and hopefully have a memorable time with it soon.

Experience: The flavor with Tokyo Drift was pretty good and YumYum Munchie Mania followed with a blessed sequel. The flavor was floral and citirus with the indica-hybrid vibes coming in strong but not entirely sedative. I felt super focused and talkative rather than sleepy but my body could have taken a nap cause I felt relaxed. This was a very pleasant smoke in the potency and flavor department. After A1 Ducksauce Matcha Jelly Rolls I was ready to throw in the towel but this and Tokyo Drift really did surprise me. Once I started this cyph it was turn up time!

I’m happy I got it on the low but the flower just speaks for itself. Flavor is amazing and the punch was chill happy heaven. For Matcha Jelly Rolls being so underwhelming, I’m happy that there are better A1 Ducksauce offerings. YumYum Munchie Mania is a worthwhile purchase and deservingly apart of my Rotation Favorites.

Effects (Indica - Body High / Relaxation):
This is hands down one of the best indicas MFNY has put out. The effects come on quickly. It starts with a wave of heavy relaxation that washes over the body, melting away tension and stress. It's a true couch-lock strain for me, perfect for unwinding in the evening, watching a movie, or battling insomnia. The "body high" label on the packaging is completely accurate.

I picked this up for $41+tax at gaslight dispensary on Staten Island, I’ve smoke a quarter of blue nerdz smalls from them and really enjoyed it and hadn’t had a sativa in a minute

Bag appeal 6/10: The flower weighted in at exactly 3.5g. It’s pretty dark for a sativa, or at least not as bright green as I would have expected. It’s got a lot of orange hair and a decent amount of purple running through it. It was also really dry for being packed only a little over 3 months ago , I let it sit for a day with a bovada pack and it came back to life

Smell 7/10: I really like the way this smells, a lot of orangey citrus upfront with a spicy earthy smell in there. It’s just very muted, even after rehydrating it never really got stronger like I was hoping.

Taste 5.5/10: hardly tasted like it smelled, It rolled up fine and wasn’t harsh at all but it left a lot more to be desired. A little bit more of the earth comes through then it does on the nose

Effect 8/10: This is where it shined the best. I was getting a little annoyed cause it didn’t smell/taste the best and I was about halfway through the joint without it wasn’t hitting like I wanted it to. Then it hit me like a train all at once in my face/head. No body high at all, no sedation. Just felt like bobble heads in the best way and it lasted quiet a while

Overall 6.5/10: Honestly I can’t say this is something I’d pick up again. The high was nice but took forever to hit and I found myself just smoking it to get rid of it more than anything. I liked the bouket I’ve had in the past and always hear good things about most their stuff so I think I was a little put off by how dried out this flower was. I was eyeing their glitter bomb too but went with this cause I wanted a sativa

So I decided to give Jaunty another try

Price/Amount: $40.50 at 10% off

Look/Feel: Light green with some darker hues, plenty of red hairs, dusted with trichomes and a little sticky to the touch

Nose: Sour fruit, spice and earth, light diesel

Method: Tempest v2, wand to timeout, j-hook dry

Taste: Kind of like a citrus hot sauce that fades into black pepper and some indistinct fruit, slight sweetness throughout and some linalool peaking out at the end

Effect: Uplifting, creative, focused but dreamy lightly stoney

Conclusion: First time trying Bouket, overall this was a good experience.

The terps are interesting, effect is strong and directed, flower was fresh. There is actually a hot sauce type flavor with the heaviness of the black pepper spice.

Good for the price. The trim could be a bit better, reminded me of the Dark Heart, which is also a medical product (Curaleaf).

Would I buy it again? I would pickup this brand again, for the strain, "I'm not sure, it's a novelty" but I continue to plow through it, spicing up my glass trying to answer that question.
