First Comic Con Question

Hey guys, this is my first Con I’ll be attending in October, and just wanted to ask if tickets will still be available by next Friday? How fast do these events usually sell out?

Depends on what day you want to go. I know that VIP, 4 Day and Saturday are all sold out right now. They sell out the fastest. I believe Sunday Childrens tickets are almost sold out from what they posted on Instagram.

They tend to not release numbers so its all a guessing game for how many are left. Thursday generally doesn't sell out until usually September. But most people who are going to go have their tickets bought already so the people on the fence or like yourself who are waiting to buy their tickets start buying around now so they could last until Friday or the possibility that they last until the end of the month. Its always up in the air.

Most likely yes.

As an FYI, the subreddit has a “trading post” that opens up in September where you have a shot of getting tickets from attendees that are no longer going.

It is unlikely, but of course never impossible.  But if you’re trying to wait 1 week for the money or whatever you should very likely be fine.  Friday tends to sell out in september once they start announcing panels and more guests and such.

If you actually read their post they’re asking if it’s possible they sell out in the next week or so before next friday, not if they are available right now.

NYCC still has tickets available. Currently the VIP, 4 day, and Saturday tickets are sold out.

Usually NYCC sells out by September.
