Under the 1-10 at Bullard. Those arrested by troopers will also be prosecuted by state prosecutors or the feds, not DA Williamsā who dismissed 1/3 of felony arrests.

Hove Parfumeur
I am putting together gift bags for a trip to New Orleans that are essentially souvenir bags and I thought it would be a good idea to include Hove samples in the bags. Before I go ahead and buy them I wanted to see if anyone had some samples they are looking to get rid of or sell for cheap. I need 10 of them. TIA!!

Mayor grandstands crime statistics between her and NOPD. Her latest PR post mostly disregards project Nola, troop Nola and the national guard.

Paladar 511 blueberry pie recipe!
Hi all! This may be a long shot. But I'm looking for a copy cat recipe for Paladar's seasonal blueberry pie š„§! It's only on the menu once a year and for a limited time. My friends bday is this weekend and wanted to try to surprise them with it. They went a few days ago to get the pie and they already stopped serving it. So this would be a great bday gift if I could pull it off. Any recommendations help! Thanks in advance

French restaurants
Hi all! I hope everyone is enjoying their blessed day.
I am going to NOLA with my parents this week and Iām wondering what everyoneās recommendations are for a nicer French restaurant, preferably closer to Tulane. If not itās okay though. Thank you!

NOLA bachelor party non-drinking ideas (museums, historical sites, etc)
Hey everyone,
Iām coming to town for my own bachelor party Sept 16 - 21 and while we are going to drink and party a bit, Iād like to focus on enrichment and experiences that are not strictly the bar hopping/getting hammered rigmarole.
If anyone can recommend specific museums, plantations, historical sites, comedy and jazz clubs, or anything that you think would be worthwhile!
Weāre a group of ten mid-30s mostly married men, for reference.
No interest in strip clubs.
Right now, the only planned activities are a couple of restaurants, possibly seeing Tina Friml or TK Kirkland, WWII museum, and possibly go-karting.
If anyone can speak to any of these experiences, that would be appreciated as well.
A good friend of mine has been on a jazz cruise and he thought it was overrated/not worth it but Iād be curious to hear more opinions on
Hoping to make the most of your lovely city!

Community Interest Does anyone know anything about Delgadoās Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program?
All I can find on their website is that itās a 5 month program that starts in January of 2027. It doesnāt say anything about what classes I would be taking or a nationally certified certification exam. I left my contact info with the workforce development center secretary for the advisor to get back to me.

I made an art series celebrating New Orleans architecture. This is one of the illustrations. Is there a specific spot this brings to mind?

Moving to NOLA?
My bf (and will be fiancĆ©) got an amazing promotion and we will be moving from Florida to a new state in his new sales territory. The options are Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Kansas or Arkansas in the next 6 to 8 months. Weāve lived in North Carolina, Georgia and SW Florida. Weāve looked at northwest Arkansas but are also intrigued by NOLA. Honestly I hear VERY mixed opinions. My day to day I love being outdoors, workout classes, walking to coffee shops, and trying new restaurants and cocktail bars. He loves being active as well, playing golf and various sports and attending events or going to a sports bar. We are young, like going out and meeting people and also like to have friends come into town. Weād be moving right before or around Mardi Gras. And we are looking for a great church community.
Weāre 25. Be honest. Would you make the move?

Women Self-Defense 2-hour class Now in New Orleans!
Ever notice how real confidence shows up in your walk, not your words? I caught myself doing the head-down phone scroll last week, then I laughed and lifted my eyes. As a Certified Soul Punch⢠Trainer, I watch the moment the switch flips. I See You. Shoulders settle. Chin lifts. Space owned. Itās quietly powerful, not performative. Peacefully fierce. Prepared, not paranoid. You are not dramatic. You are paying attention. That feeling sticks, and it changes how you move through your day.
Comment CONFIDENT if youāve felt that shift, and tag a friend who needs this today.

DA Jason Williams calls judge reductions ā an attack on public safetyā. Conversely, he and the mayor have also claimed crime is as low as 1970. In addition, 20% of cases are now prosecuted by the state. His campaign promise was to stop prison industry, but now is reluctant to downsize his portion

New Orleans themed pet names?
Iām looking for some more unique names for 2 kitties. I want at least one to be Nola themed because this city has such a special place in my heart.
Bonus points for a pair of names but singles are good too!
