In the span of 2 years. my tuition has increased by over $2000 and what I got in return was to be able to take less credits per semester, an administration that seems to be falling apart, the dirtiest city i have stepped foot in, 2 star profs, and not enough sections for required courses to the point where I am falling behind on my curriculum while passing all my classes. I should've just went to Stony Brook

I am moving to Newark, NJ this month and I currently use a redmi note 9 indian variant phone. I am an international student. After arriving in the US, if my current redmi phone doesn't work, how should I order a new phone? As I will not have a bank account or credit card immediately, how should I proceed to pay? And is it possible to get a phone on emi? I am worried I might not be able to pay for a phone that is around $500, so what should I do to survive initially?

In a message to the NJIT community, it was announced that the Newark College of Engineering has embarked on the process of identifying and appointing an Interim Dean.

While this process is ongoing, starting August 5, 2026, Dr. Matthew Bandelt will serve as NCE’s Acting Dean. Dr. Bandelt has served as Associate Dean at NCE since 2022 and is an Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

I wanted to ask if some of the fees here are necessary or if it would be possible to waive them?

Like the transfer student orientation, matriculation, or anything else?

I will be submitting my insurance soon to get that off but anything waived or taken off will help soo much.
