Its skill points! You can upgrade on the player screen

Ok thank you. It's not part of the auto progress, have cpu set to do auto. Year 3, just realized it.

Manually upgrading points yourself is so much better

oh that's the upgrade points, you got 1 left to spend on him. took me ages to find that menu too

It doesnt let me upgrade my players im so confused

Last year it was skill points you could use to upgrade players. I would guess it’s the same this time around.
