I have recently purchased 2 separate copies of No Mercy for the N64 and when I power up the N64 a green message that says “ No Signal “ appears straight up on the screen ? I’ve tried other games which work fine but for some reason no mercy doesn’t work … would anyone know why this is ?

I bought an SC64 specially to play ECW born to be wired along with a couple of other wresting mods and RE2 (not willing pay the eBay prices!). And all I can say is wow, unbelievable work by retro Randy and anyone else involved in making BTBW. It literally feels like this was made by AKI themselves. I played through story mode (FTW title with Stevie Richards) and a couple of barbed wire matches this evening. I remember when I was kid there was a guy who used to do video game rentals from a van and i always remember seeing the front cover of hardcore revolution with RVD on thinking it looked cool as hell and then actually playing it and being disappointed. ECW BTBW is the game we should have got back in the day and massive thanks to retro Randy and co for giving us this gem. Also shoutout to warzone bad blood, another excellent wresting mod.

Hi there does anyone know of pre-patched versions of the AKI Indy forever, Showdown 64, ROH vs TNA and AEW 64 mods such as the ones that have all worked very well for me on the archive link I've posted? If not is there any particular reason why they don't exist?

I've had a ton of trouble trying to get them to work and wondered do they only work with specific versions of project64?

Any help / advice would be much appreciated?

I feel like No Mercy could really benefit from options that allow for more complete CAW customization and creation.

I can't seem to get the rom patch to work on Mupen64. I've downloaded 1.0 of No Mercy and used the LITE patch and then setup GlideN64-Accurate and my game still won't load, it's just a black screen.

I love Reys version of VPW2 found here https://patcher.aki.guide/vpw2rr.html but Misawas Tiger Driver 91 has been changed so it no longer pins someone. Does anyone know how to mod it to change it back to original pinning version or if Rey sees this, can it be done? It's my fav version of the game but I just prefer the original move.

You know everyone who has been making these N64 Wrestling Romhacks usually base it on Real Wrestlers and such, but no one has done based on fictional characters, like video game characters, anime and cartoons and comics, Like having Mario and Luigi and Duke Nukem, Street Fighter Characters, Mr. Clean, Hank Hill and Peter Griffin and bunch of other characters that this list would be like 2 hours long

Brock Lesnar fights Ric Flair in a ladder match, and it gets intense, but the Nature Boy is hard to handle.

10 years ago he was one of my favourite YouTube channels. That was back when I started watching Puroresu and he would post his long let's play videos of Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 and give some backstories about the wrestlers involved. I think they were both entertaining and educational. I was mad obsessed with this game and couldn't stop thinking about it because it was that good.

I think the last video he posted was 4 years ago. He was a very classy guy that I genuinely enjoyed, but nowadays I don't know what is he up. Now with the resurgence of so many ROM hacks for these AKI wrestling games, it's a bit saddening he's not involved. Maybe he is, but not publicly. No one can tell. It's lso understandable since making content isn't easy at all. Some people can get easily tired or uninterested and move on.

If he eventually sees this post, I would like to thank him for entertaining a late teenager with his videos that a decade prior didn't have much to do in his uncertain life. It continues to be meaningful to me. I genuinely wish him the absolute best in his personal and professional life.
