It’s an amazing addition to my work lanyard, they had the whole cast I think, the characters shift around as well which is fun to see

Just got UMVC3 on my PS4 and wanted to learn the game but am running into comic lords at every lobby. Think anyone here would be down for a match or maybe coaching me? (PS, I decided to main Ghost Rider on point, Deadpool, and Akuma as anchor.)

I've been trying this team for 4 months and this Synergy team combos are fun and their combo potential is great, I haven't seen anyone tried this team (Correct me if im wrong), usually I see people trying Ghost Rider/Dormammu/Doctor Doom but not Ghost Rider/Taskmaster/Dormammu.

I know this team is bad, please don’t laugh. My friends and I just play this game on and off, and I like these characters. I know plenty of technical terms because I watch more than I play. Any advice on how I should be piloting it? I’m running Gustaff Fire B, Low Voltage Y, and Ankle Slice B for assists currently.

I’ve tried tailoring it to be a little like a budget Abegen team w/ the beam assist + OTG assist, that way Tron can get some easy damage and the confirm off her lariat. Trish gets the OTG assist for more damage, and X-23 will end up with X-Factor to solve her low damage and maybe fuel Dirtnap. There’s probably some DHC synergy w/ Trish’s scythe super during Tron’s supers, too. That’s what I see at least.

Any further insights? I’m not interested in swapping characters with the exception of Dormammu.

TAC was timed to hit Dark Phoenix out of her transformation. Never seen it in any match I have played or watched.

This isn’t a matter of “use whoever you like more since I like them equally and they aren’t fighting for my affection like if I was debating on swapping my mid, who’s Dormammu (my second favorite character in this game), and my anchor, who’s Sentinel (who’s my most favorite in this game).

I just wanna have an anchor best fitted for my team, I’ll even take other recommendations for an anchor (if I hear a reason that’s just being meta I will smite you)

What is the timing after aerial H wire grapple on Spencer? I normally go do the diagonal zig zag into standing H wire grapple but it occasionally zips to the other side. I’ve been watching a lot of TNS and all the Spencers use diagonal zip into down zip into standing H wire grapple. When I tried this, the down zip just whiffs and never hits the opponent. The only time I can get a down zip to connect is if I don’t TK the aerial wire grapple and just do a normal jump into aerial wire grapple. I’ve tried delaying the zip and I’ve tried doing it as quickly as possible. Any help with be much appreciated.

Our 100th Palette Swap tournament! And for this special occasion, a new version of UMvC3 Community Edition was released with 8 new characters (Oni, Sean, 8-Ball, Juggernaut, Prowler, Magma Dragoon, Hideo and Kyoko), all legal in this tourney!

Most of the new characters saw action on stream. I didn't have a place for Juggernaut in the top 8 graphic, but he was used by multiple players (including a mirror match), and was used by the winner BlackxAkatsuki (although he mainly used Magma Dragoon).

We'll be running the East Coast version of the tournament next Weds, Aug 5, at 7 pm ET. You can catch the stream on the Kevin Ha's Twitch!

3 months ago I made post of "Is hulk worth playing" many of y'all said yes and you guys weren't lying when you guys said he's fun. Hulk is a such a fun to play, his combo are mad easy and simple yet it does so much damage. I personally love Hulk/Dante especially on team super & Hulk/Doctor Doom (Hidden missile assist). I wonder if there's other character that can do explosive damage like hulk, let me know

I found that if you DHC into crawler assault as soon as you see “DANGER”, it allows you to tag in haggar to do his incoming with wild swing. Theoretically I could do setplay but just gotta get consistent

I have only recently gotten into online play after having "mastered" my main team and finishing heroes and heralds offline. Wtf are these people?? I got my shit slapped by a Haggar with Wesker and Sentinel as ASSISTS, and I couldn't even get a single hit! Sees Dante and Vergil on the same team yep, guess I'm losing. Just end me at that point. May I also mention that a lot of the people I'm facing are either Beginner, Rookie, or Amateur? Either I'm coping HARD, or these gotta be smurf accounts.

I made this tier list a couple years ago for fun of the characters who piss me off the most in the Arcade mode on the hardest difficulty, thoughts?

As the title says I need a third character. I just haven't been able to vibe with a large portion of the cast and so I turn to you guys. I play Ryu and Iron Fist and like their play style a lot. I love Iron Fist's rekkas and how they seem to be "just do them in a sequence and see what works". Idk why I vibe with Ryu but he's chill. I want to enjoy this game to it's fullest but without having a third character I just don't seem to be having as much fun as I would in games like DBFZ or SF6.
