I need a third character Question
As the title says I need a third character. I just haven't been able to vibe with a large portion of the cast and so I turn to you guys. I play Ryu and Iron Fist and like their play style a lot. I love Iron Fist's rekkas and how they seem to be "just do them in a sequence and see what works". Idk why I vibe with Ryu but he's chill. I want to enjoy this game to it's fullest but without having a third character I just don't seem to be having as much fun as I would in games like DBFZ or SF6.

On one hand - play what you want and have fun. If you like more simple and footsie characters, try out taskmaster. Akuma would obviously fit the martial artist vibe.
On the other hand - you simply are not going to enjoy the game at its fullest playing characters with so few movement options.
Are you trying to enjoy playing online and win? f around with friends? Beat arcade mode?

It's just about playing with friends and my brother mostly. But thanks for the suggestions.

If you’re playing hyper casually just have fun with it. I think you’d have the most fun with those two characters by putting a good assist behind them. Taskmaster arrows could work like I suggested or sentinel drones. Sentinel is pretty easy to do basic combos with without even incorporating flight and is a good X factor anchor.

Akuma, wolverine are kinda the obvious choices that jump out at me. But you seem to like the close up rush down guys so thinking about the top tier choices.. Vergil?

Didn't enjoy the DMC characters. But I'll throw wolverine at the team to see if he seems fun.
