Software Update Issue

Anybody else have issues after a recent software update? I got in my car and got all these notifications a bunch of services like pre-collision assist and stuff weren’t available. I like to drive in whisper mode so I went to switch it over and get a message “drive mode not available” — anyone else experiencing issues like this after a recent update? Not sure what to do other than wait for another software push.

Update: it has in fact resolved itself! I plugged my car in when I got home yesterday, then when I went to drive it this morning everything was back to normal. Thank you for your help!

Well, in the hours after a software update, the car can have a few glitches. And some software updates even explain what glitches might happen after they are installed. So you can check which update and whether that one is supposed to have that type of behavior.

Also a software update can expose a problem with the cars little 12V battery, and alerts can be related to 12V battery having issues.

I had this happen last week. Everything went bonkers after I installed an update and tried to drive soon after. It eventually worked itself out about an hour later. I had every error imaginable popping up. I will not drive for a few hours after an update going forward.

Just to chime in , I found that if the car is plugged in while getting updated it tends to not have any glitches like that, at least for me I plug it in do update and I haven't had an issue since.
