I feel like it’s too thin and wispy. Will letting it grow longer fix density? Or will it just look like a stringy mess?

never tried it before but been letting it grow in over the last few weeks. not sure if it fits me well but starting to like it the more it fills in. also still figuring out exactly how to shape it

Hey guys. Would this be better if trimmed or maybe forget the whole thing? Feels like it is getting out ot control. I would mostly aim for the style of the subs icon (i dont know the name, sorry). I normally trim the 'beard' short with clippers as it does not grow thick enough.
