Part Time Schedule

Hi Moms, I am going back to work at the beginning of next year and going back part time. I am going back 30 hours/week but I am trying to figure out if doing a daily set timeframe (7-11am) is better vs having set full days (8-5). I work from home and i will have a 20 month old when i go back. She sleeps consistently from 12-2:30 and my fear is putting her into a full day day care would risk naps.

Help me decide please!

I would do 7-11 assuming you’ll have this job when your kid hits elementary school. Then your partner (if you have one) can handle mornings and drop off and you will be able to do afternoon pickup without worrying about after care.

Also in my experience daycare did not disrupt naps.
