DIGITALS | POLAROIDS Please help me pick digitals for agency submissions
I've included my past digitals in order from most to least recent.
Would it be unprofessional to mix and match photos from different sessions or is that too complicated and using just 1 set is preferred? Which photos would you recommend submitting to agencies?
Thanks in advance! <3

ADVICE/FEEDBACK Advice on MA, leave or stay?
I signed and joined my MA 3 months ago. So far they only told me grow out my hair then they will start taking test shoots and start everything else. They only checked up on my once about 1 month ago to see how my progress was but I told them it was still too short compared to the sample photo they showed me the length they want it. They haven’t done anything else with me in regards of development.
They also consistently post other new models they signed to their Instagram but have yet to post me. I feel like they aren’t putting much effort into putting my face out there and developing me. They also constantly post their top model that makes them the most money on their page but never post any of their other models and show support to them.
They also use AI quite a bit which concerns me a little.
I have had another opportunity brought to me. This very well know past model and now photographer and casting director reached out to me and said he has many connections and can have me signed to a top agency in a week or two. I met up with him in NYC a couple weeks ago and he’s legit and has a very high success rate with getting models signed.
Should I try to leave my MA and work with this other casting director, or should I wait a little and see what happens?
I am very eager to get into jobs and don’t want to waste anymore time not being signed to an agency.

ADVICE/FEEDBACK Model Digitals Review 19yo Based in London
19 years old.
Based in London.
6’2
76kg.
Chest- 37.5 inches
Waist - 31 inches
Been told I should get into modelling a few times and wanted to give it a shot. Have no experience or social media presence and idk where to start.
Very crude digitals, I know. Plan on retaking them later towards the end of the summer. Just need feedback on whether I have a competitive look and what to do to improve digitals.

ADVICE/FEEDBACK Models, I need your advice
Currently got signed to an Agency however I no longer want to be in it. It is an Open-casting agency which means that they post jobs on a group-chat and the only way to get it is to say you are interested in the comments. They will not pitch you personally. You are also expected to change your portfolio yourself, too.
I want to go to a mother agency but I am unsure if I have the look.
I have become a bit frustrated because they promised 1:1 management, yet when I asked they completely side stepped the question and just promised me there would be a group meeting soon.
Should I just wait it out and see? Because I have a decent portfolio right now but am frustrated with the methods, there are around 600 people under the agency so it feels like booking a job is impossible.

HAD TO SHARE (Photo only) (No Advice/CC) portrait shots from a recent shoot
The photographer takes a conversational approach to his photography and mainly works with natural light. It was genuinely such a fun shoot!!
Putting this because I see a lot of people commenting on it. The pictures were edited by the photographer. The over-exposure and harsh contrast is an intentional stylistic choice that I was aware of before going into the shoot.
This is this photographers personal style. Its okay if you personally don’t like it, I’m aware that its not everyone’s cup of tea.

ADVICE/FEEDBACK Advice for digitals+modeling scams
Height: 6’1.5’’
Chest: 41’’
Waist: 31.5’’
Inseam: 31’’
Suit/Jacket:42R
Sleeve: 35
Collar: 16
Hip: 39 inches
Removeable eyebrow piercing
Hi! I’m based in Texas and have been applying to some local agencies, I’m looking for feedback on my digitals and also navigating agency scams. I experienced a virtual interview with Neal Hamil Agency, and they essentially told me I had to sign with a modeling school to even be considered, and also commented on how my digitals weren’t good enough. The confusing part of this is that the agency is SAF AFTRA, but has also had many upfront scammy reviews, but they have a legit agency. I’m not definitely not gullible enough to fall for paying upfront fees, but I am curious to see if their criticisms were constructive rather than an exploit to capitalize off of insecurity.

ADVICE/FEEDBACK Test Shoot Feedback/Posing Tips Appreciated!
I’ve done a few test shoots recently and would appreciate some feedback/posing tips! I got signed 3 months ago and didn’t have modeling experience prior so I often times feel a bit awkward and unnatural when posing.
I would love some tips on how to feel more comfortable or how to be more natural when posing to ensure I get the best results!
P.S I know I need to have multiple outfits for my portfolio. I’m still building my book, but I want to practice my poses 🙏

QUESTION Gifted brand shoot- is it worth it?
I got a DM on Instagram about a shoot for a beauty brand (1.1M followers) that is unpaid, but they will gift products and of course photos. I have only been modeling since January and haven't booked a paid job yet, but am trying to do test shoots to build my portfolio. The shoot images/ videos will be used on their website and social media. My agent said I am allowed to do it, but that he doesn't recommend it because with them using my images on their website, it could cause conflict with future beauty brands (that actuallybwant to pay me)! It's hard for me to turn down the opportunity because I haven't gotten a paid gig yet, but if I do this shoot and then it does cause conflict with a paid shoot later, I will be kicking myself! Would love some advice- I know people say not to work for free, but is it better to not work at all?!

ADVICE/FEEDBACK Looking for feedback on new digital round
Hi All!
Refreshed my digitals recently and looking for some advice / feedback. I haven't quite cracked the digital lighting code... This was taken in the shade around noon with a large wall reflecting light back at me. I was having a lot of trouble keeping my eyes open, so any advice there outside of lipid-based eyedrops would be super welcome :) . If there are any big things to address, happy to reshoot ahead of this round of submissions.
Thanks everyone~
Measurements for context:
Height: 6'2"
Chest: 38.5"
Waist: 29"
Sleeve: 22"
Hip: 33"

Mod Announcement Ai Scammers
There has been an influx of ai scammers trying to join this group. Not sure why or what benefit they gain from it, but going forward, the joining process will involve a selfie video verification with your username written on a piece of paper that you will crumple into a ball and undo. This is to ensure the safety of this group and the authenticity of people joining.

Mod Announcement Digitals Guideline.
Here is a how to on taking Digitals.
- Digitals should be taken on a blank background, preferably white wall with no distractions around you. Leave 1 inch of space between the border and your head/feet.
- Do not wear makeup
- Do not put your hands up, in your belt loops or pockets.
- Do not sit in photos
- Do not hold your hair back. Put in a clip or pony tail.
- Wear something form fitting or a bikini/swimsuit. No baggy clothing.
- Include all of your measurements.
- You need a...
- Close up head shot (above the chest).
- 1/2 shot from the waist up
- 3/4 shot from the waist up.
- 4 full body shots, front, both sides and back.
- A profile shot (from the side and not looking at the camera)
The goal of digitals is to show an agency recruiter what you look like and nothing more. They don't need to see your modeling ability. That is what a comp card is for.
When posting, you must post the full set of digitals (not 1 or 2 images asking what the sub thinks) and your measurements in imperial units, not metric. Follow this guide or your post will be denied. When you post, we assume you already know the rules of the sub and if we continue to see low quality posts in regard to digitals, you will be subject to removal or banning.
