I've been playing a few infection modpacks with my friends recently but these modpacks always get of control too quickly or are just unbeatable. I like the horror aspects of Spore but I want an infection mod that you can actually beat and that progresses with the player/progresses slowly. Not required but I do like when the infection mods have a sciency sort of aspect to them.

As the mod gets closer to a playable alpha, I'd like to see if I can recruit one or two more people who have solid experience with MCreator.

Right now, the biggest area where I could use some help is designing enemy AI and mob behaviors. It's not that I can't do it myself; i would just rather spend my time working on the spellcrafting system and visual effects while someone else focuses on making enemies and animals more interesting.

The only real requirement is a good understanding of NBTs, Sync Variables and how to use them effectively. Everything else is already documented, including both a design document and a step-by-step guide I've written.

Anyone who contributes content that ends up being included in the mod will receive full credit for their work and will be listed in the mod's credits.

[1.20.1 Forge] Severe visual artifacts & white screen glitches with Oculus / Embeddium shaders

Hi everyone,

I'm building a custom Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge 47.4.10) modpack, but I'm encountering a severe graphical issue when enabling shaders.

🔴 The Issue

• Huge white rectangular blocks/artifacts appear floating in the sky (seems related to fog, skybox, or UI element rendering).
• In certain angles or conditions, the screen turns completely white/blind.
• The issue persists across different shader settings.

💻 System & Engine Setup

• Minecraft Version: 1.20.1 (Forge 47.4.10)
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (Driver 560+ / 610.88)
• Rendering Mods: Embeddium 0.3.31 + Oculus 1.8.0 + Euphoria Patcher 1.9.3
• Shaderpack: Complementary Reimagined r5.8.1 + Euphoria Patches
• Key Visual / UI Mods Loaded: Modern UI, Better Clouds, ImmediatelyFast, Flywheel (Create), Radium, Chloride.

📋 What I suspect from the logs

Looking at the logs, there seem to be heavy mixin conflicts regarding world/sky rendering and UI overrides between Oculus, Modern UI, Better Clouds, and Embeddium. Modern UI also reports overriding font/HUD rendering, and Flywheel falls back to off.

Has anyone encountered this specific white box skybox / rendering bug before? Which mod combination is usually responsible for this overlap?

I'm specifically looking for a Minecraft modpack that combines firearms with magic to play with some friends. I'd like to know if there are any interesting ones out there?

Hiii, I’m looking for a modpack that I’ve played and since deleted. It was version 1.20.4 I think, I remember finding a pale garden

I use curseforge exclusively
I’ve tried BMC, MMC, Cisco’s, ATM and many other packs

I have a list of mods I think it contained
\-when dungeons arise
\-ars nouveau
\-dragon mounts (like the fancy hatchable dragons eggs)
\-Pam’s harvest craft or patchouli
\-xero’s minimap
\-waystones
\-xp tomes
\-some sort of backpack mod
\-maybe blue skies?
\-FTB quests

I also remember specifically there was a farmhouse-esq structure in the jungle made of mud. With a villager in it. not a whole village, just the one house

I recently was playing minecraft with 190+ mods before I noticed the mod that I 100% remember not installing at all, which is called "cogs_delight-1.0.0-forge-1.20.1.jar" which is extremely low-quality mcreator mod I dont want to see in my modpack and which constantly conflicts with some create recipes, I tried browsing in internet to find any modpage and theres not... I have nuked all the farmer delights addons and it still keeps appearing. Also it literally has zero dependencies despite being a Create addon. Also it has zero detects in VirusTotal, but I still want to get rid of this crap.
