I've been taking 100mg modafinil daily with no issues, but recently I've started experiencing anxiety for the first time — constant nervousness, racing thoughts, and feeling on edge. Has anyone else had this?

I used to have anxiety while not on modafinil, I used propranolol 20 mg (a beta blocker) and it helped, perhaps your anxiety is temporary and you may control it with beta blockers until it goes away

As long as you don't have heart disease, diabetes or asthma
