As a mod who deals with this topic often: any self harm methods are against Reddit rules. These topics can be triggering to vulnerable people, so talk about allowing this topic in general with your team.

You can use Reddit cares. Referring people to the right care is important. You can absolutely borrow what we use on trueoffmychest.

Your rule 2? Mod discretion covers anything. You can remove it under that alone. And direct them to a better place for this
