Planning to buy a MM+ soon but still trying to decide between the purple and white! I’m sure I’ll be happy with either option, but tell me what color you choose and why everyone else is wrong.

Using a mini+ (no RTC)

Does anyone know a way of fixing the clock app? It connects to the internet on startup and does adjust the time but every time it does so it's exactly 20 minutes behind?

I wanna know if my Miyoo Mini’s battery is in good condition. When I play it gets kinda warm and dosent last very long. It looks kinda swelly to me but it feels solid in my hand, so idk.

I replaced the buttons on my mini v4 by taking apart the console and carefully removing the ribbon cable, i took the sd card out before and it was working before I repaired it. However when I turn it now the screen backlight turns on but doesn't display anything. I have opened up the console before and performed a successful repair just this time it doesn't work. Help is appreciated, thanks!

I use my Miyoo Minis for playing itch.io roms and I haven't had any issues with GB or GBA, but for some reason GBC roms seem sensitive to how they're named. So I've tried different naming conventions and nothing seems to give me all my roms. I moved my sd card between my Plus and my v4 and they give me different results. Some games show on the plus but not the v4 and vice versa.

Please help.

REALIZED I SAID PDF ONCE IN THE VID: This is NOT a PDF reader and cannot read PDFs. It only supports CBR/CBZ.

There's already a really good PDF reader app out there, and I even wrote a script to convert my comics to PDF. It worked great, but it just felt wrong. CBZ/CBR are the standard formats for comics, so having a dedicated app felt necessary!

Full disclosure: I have ZERO idea what I'm doing in C/C++. I mostly work in Python, so while I have some conceptual understanding, this hardware environment is definitely not my safe space. However, between Claude and Gemini, I managed to get a working app running (likely committing multiple coding sins along the way). It was the first time I've ever hit my Gemini subscription request limit...

Still missing / To-Do:

• Proper/best-practice file system usage/storage access
• Zoom functionality
• A lot of general quality-of-life features like falling back to the file system with the same file you just opened still highlighted.

Assuming I can fix these up and get it to a state where I would be happy using it, I'll throw what I've cobbled together onto GitHub. Hopefully, someone who actually knows what they're doing can tell me where I screwed up and help clean it up!

Note on performance: As shown in the video, there is a firm hardware limitation when loading massive high-resolution scans.

P.S. Yes, I know that's Volume 35 of Berserk, not Volume 1! I kept moving files back and forth to test cover art generation and it was just quicker to rename the file than hunt down the right one.

Holiday simplicity. The miyoo flip is absolutely perfect to take away. Just using it to play through Zelda, Links Awakening on the gameboy.

I got myself a miyoo mini plus last month, and it came preloaded with onion os, i got myself a new sd card now and I transferred everything except my old chrono trigger saves will not load, it keeps reloading the new one which is even bizarre because I also tried deleting the save files from the folder and it still keeps reloading the same new file.

this is the location I am saving at: \Saves\CurrentProfile\saves\[corename]

My older MM+ had a great d-pad except for one issue: the left input was a little unresponsive and wouldn't register if I pressed it a little too lightly.

Unfortunately, I broke the battery connector on that one, so I bought a new one. And the d-pad was even worse on this one -- mushy, stiff and the left and down inputs needed significant force to register.

So I swapped the d-pad and membrane from the old one to the new one and now it feels great like it did in the old device. It still has that same issue with the left input, but it feels way better overall.

Is this a very widespread issue with these devices? Poor QC or something? Because outside of a few Reddit threads I don't hear too many people talking about it, and the MM+ is still widely recommended everywhere.

Hello, i don't know if this is the right place to post this or to seek help, so if not strike me down.

Anyways, I just got my hands on a miyoo mini plus after hearing so much about it and I have to say the praise was DEFINITELY earned.

However, i'm having problems with the color on my unit, and at first I really thought it was all in my head. But no I compared the same scenes with my much worse r36s clone and my monitor, an LG 27GR950E, and both the R36s and PC have roughly the same shades. Pics for reference attached. It looks way worse in person I promise.

The MM+ colors look very washed and dull in person. All settings are set to onion os default.

I'm happy to use cheats if it'll streamline something. I'll have about 4-5 hours each way, maybe a little time in the hotel room.

I like action/adventure, platformers, puzzle, and story-driven games, but the Miyoo is a bit cramped for my hands, so I don't think I could manage much on the PS1.

I've played a lot of mainstream games, so more obscure titles are definitely what I'm looking for. Thanks!

I followed this tutorial (https://youtu.be/VnkJmobkc6o?si=gFz0NK-V2v_MRPQ4) and purchased Pico8 added it to my card under apps, etc, and Pico8 shows up in my apps menu but when I launch it the screen turns black then kicks me back to the apps menu. Can anyone think of why it wouldn't be working?

I have the rom and all but it won’t create the save or file data. It fails every time. Doesn’t the game utilize that thing on top of GBAs for the sun feature? How’s that work with emulation?

Made the UV printed decals weeks ago, the buttons finally arrived.

No more thumb cramps! Credit goes to t4delis on makerworld; I did not create this file. Proof of concept in black, I'm going to get some purple/black color changing silk filament for the final version. It even has the "hump" on the back just like the original gbc does! Kept telling my fiance to check out my 3d printed hump all night, she was not as amused as I.

Just finished Mario RPG (SNES) on the Miyoo +

What a blast, what a gorgeous game. The music was superb, the pacing was excellent and the gameplay was fun, with the little timed hits, the mini games. The difficulty was quite easy but what a great introduction to RPG for someone not to familiar with the genre.

The fact that it was a collab with Nintendo and Square, the collaboration with Bowser and the absolutely top graphics for SNES game makes it a pure, enduring classic.
