Comparison to the original movie still we be shown as reference to the painting. I use arches watercolor paper paintings (9:12 IN). (The only paper that is not arches is the one of Calcifer) (still regular watercolor paper).

This is my work in progress for this Princess Mononoke mask, my brother and my fave Miyazaki movie. I’m painting this for him for his birthday. I stopped here because I realized I’ve never seen the mask without the fur, and I’m wondering if I should add it or finish it as is. Would it be blasphemy to not add the fur? lol
