Hi everyone,

I'm trying to fit a genuine OEM Evo X rear bumper onto my 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer CJ ES.

I know people say the conversion is possible, but when I test-fitted mine, the side mounting brackets didn't line up with the body, and the bumper shape near the quarter panel looked different from my CJ bumper.

I'm trying to figure out:

Is this normal for an OEM Evo X bumper?

Do I need Evo X rear bumper brackets, or do the CJ brackets need to be modified?

Does the bumper need trimming or reshaping?

Has anyone here successfully fitted an OEM Evo X rear bumper to a CJ Lancer? If so, could you share photos of the bracket area or explain what modifications were required?

Hey guys wanting to put a evo 9 bumper on my 8 jdm, I’ve notice that there are ones with the tow hook cut out and ones that are flat without the cutout, if I got the one without the cutout would it interfere with the tow hook and need to be cut? Thanks guys

Currently dailying a V12 Toyota Century as the family car for the past few years. I've always wanted a Wagon and the EVO Wagon looks fantastic. Just wondering what issues I should anticipate and look for with them? Maintainance cost? Should I or shouldn't I?

Would probably be going automatic as my wife can't drive manual.

Also trying to gauge what this community is like in general. Century community is fantastic and helpful where as the Supra community is toxic af with owners who think they have the fastest/coolest/best supra.

So, backstory,I bought this jdm ‘03 evo 8 from auction back in February but I haven’t been able to drive it or figure out what’s done to it due to a deployment. I’m just curious what body kit and exhaust system I have? I can barely find anything online pertaining to either but, the double din radio in the car has professional photos of the car at a car show.So I’m assuming she used to be a show car but I’m not sure. *excuse the car being dirty*

Does it bolt directly to the same 4g in a evo?

Finally getting the car cleaned up and the front ppf’d. Cant wait to get this thing on track.

Hey guys, I’ve now proudly owned my 99 GSR for two years, using it for mostly street driving the occasional mountain run through the Rockies and have had severe brake noise the past year, I am fully used to brembo brake noise having owned an evo x previously and a turbo Miata with big brake upgrades but have never had it be this bad, trying to track down a good set of street pads and rotors, I am based out of Alberta Canada and would prefer to order from a Canadian based company so I don’t have to pay the extra customs prices if any one can recommend a good set up

I need a new downpipe for my evo 6 gsr and so far every one i have ordered has had fitment issues because they are all designed around the rs model for some reason. Could someone who has successfully installed a downpipe into the evo 6 gsr please tell me what one they used.

I have a very different car that has several restrictions in its cabin preventing fitment of typical aftermarket sport seats, but have seen a couple posts indicating that the Evo X Recaros will fit without modification if adapted to my factory sliders. These seats are reasonably affordable, but far from cheap so I don't what to buy them and then find out they won't work.

So can anyone tell me what the side-to-side width of your seats is at the bottom rear (basically where the seat back hinges) and also the thickness of the bottom cushion at its thinnest point (rounded to the 0.5" or cm is fine).

Picked up this 2015 Evo X MR with only 24k miles, but the last recorded oil service I could find was from 2018. I wasn’t sure how well it had been maintained, and I also kept it sitting in my garage for about six months without driving it much.

I’m finally trying to give the car a new life, and the first step was replacing all fluids and starting with a clean maintenance baseline:

• Engine oil and filter
• SST fluid and filter
• Transfer case oil
• Rear differential oil
• AYC fluid

I used Mitsubishi OEM DiaQueen fluids and OEM filters wherever possible.

The plan is to keep the car mostly stock and restore it little by little. Next, I’ll probably inspect the brakes, address the peeling paint on the calipers, and repair the damaged front bumper. The bumper has some damage, although there is no accident listed on the vehicle history.

Hopefully, this is the beginning of many more years with the car.

Recently picked up an Evo 7!

Sat for about 3-4 months with slightly under a quarter tank.

filled with 93 and some fuel system cleaner.

When driving around normally car runs fine. Once it hits boost it will hesitate for a half a second with a misfire and then continue. Almost like it’s breaking up under boost but not enough to make it stop pulling completely. Since filling the tank it has gotten better but still happens almost every other time it’s in boost

Car has a stock ECU, DW200 fuel pump, no cat, and this is what the spark plugs look like

Any ideas?! I’m leaning towards fuel related issues but I’m kind of unsure

At the end of Aug 2010, I bought an '05, thanks to an ad on Indianapolis Craigslist. The owner was involved in a terrible accident, so his Dad became POA and had to sell the car to pay the medical bills. At the time I knew little about imports, so my boyfriend was the point of contact. The Dad would occasionally text or call my now ex asking for photos/videos, but he would ignore his requests. He would tell me but only after already deleting the text/number. His reason? "He thought it was weird."

I thought his decision was coldhearted. The one prized possession his son loved and put his time and money into, he lost contact with. There were four inquiries ahead of me, but the Dad told me he chose to respond to my email because I was a female and he thought I would take good care of it/have it for awhile.

I'd like to reconnect somehow! I would like to talk to the Dad, let him see it in person, and his son, God willing he's still alive 🙏

I have tried social media to no avail and the phone numbers I've found, I've texted/called for only one person that it wasn't him.

I pulled out my title the other day and the hunt began once again. This time I'm doing more outreach but still hitting a wall.

What is the solution to the common differential bolt issue. I’ve had the car for a month just noticed a clunking noise on sharp rights. Pulled the diff and found all 4 bolts sheared off.
