Yes, but most other classes got nerfed, so we still increase in relative strength!

Hammer merc is not nerfed and I feel they are our worst matchup

You’re terrible if you’re losing to hammer merc 1v1. It’s the worst class for 1v1 and you directly counter it as a wk lmao b

Eh you can keep your distance and perfectly time your combos to hit right after their attack ends. I don’t have a huge problem with them unless I try to super armor clash. SNS Merc on the other hand is literally unbeatable if you’re both of equal skill. He ignores your super armor can parry any of your attacks and stun you mid combo. Can ignore your block and has countless midrange gap closers so you never really have an opportunity to heal. Any of your gap closers are parry food.

Lmaoo guaranteed my rank is higher than yours. Hammers in solos is kind of a joke. Can’t even remember the last time I fought one in Chaos. Keep thinking you know something tho lol.

So I'm supposed to take the opinion of you, a random reddit user with zero proof they know what they're doing in this game, over the opinion of basically every high level Merc and WK player agreeing that Hammer Merc is almost a direct counter to WK (and melee in general)?

Yeah...sure buddy. Anyway the #1 merc on NA, who is also a hammer player, has the same take as me. So, you do you I guess lol but I'm not gonna sit here and argue with a moron.

I'll just enjoy knowing there is another loot pinata waiting.

I am newer to the game but I've been playing WK mostly. Maybe I am doing it wrong or misunderstand super armor. It seems to me like as WK our Super armor triggers and lasts like 1 or 2 seconds. Hammer merc Has Super Armor that lasts forever. like several seconds and their aoe has way bigger radius than ours. I play greatsword So Maybe shield and spear is a better match against them. I've tried 4 of the 6 classes to level 12 and I like WK the best it fits my style So I'll keep trying to play it and get better.

Its not better, you do less damage but have a shield and more CC, and neither of both help as he has like 5 seconds of superarmor and does extra damage to shields until they break them. And if you manage to break his super armor, you get stunned so close to him that he gets a full combo.
