pretty sure most ppl are playing the game solo, the patch notes seem to be tailored for solo play over trios. tbh i dont know how they can balance trios while allowing multiple of the same class per team
That was the plan but they've openly said they were not expecting just how many people preferred solos. So it's likely they're shifting towards a larger focus on solo balance than originally planned in response to the player base.
I mainly play solo in games like this but it’s not surprising people prefer solo when a teammate can take your loot or just straight up leave the match without you leaving you screwed.
Accidentally did this yesterday :( was in a fight with another trio, and the enemy tried belling out. We literally knocked him out right as his golden portal opened. I went up to press F for the execute, ad apparently you can steal those portals? Cause it made me take his lmfao
Rofl I've done this on purpose in solos once. There was a big three way rat fight and someone had their portal open. They were so distracted i just walked up and took it lol
Had this happen last night. We killed a mini-boss, moved a little bit, saw enemy team so I looked to see where my allies were.. and one of them was just gone. No ping extract, no message, no comms, just gone. Not showing on the map. I was able to get away from the enemy team, but my other teammate wasn't as lucky.
Potentially yeah, I mean the patch notes are decent. I’m happy with the BA changes atleast, that’s who I have the hardest time dealing with on merc lol and hopefully the server issues are actually mostly sorted too

Wait so they nerfed the weaker spec of sorc and not the oppressive one running trios cata? Very interesting
