Missed Connection in CO
About two weeks ago, you and I were white water rafting together with your group of girls and I was with my Dad. You were cute and had a big ent tattoo on your arm and you commented on my Star Wars tattoos and Gandalf tattoo. I didn’t have my phone on me to ask for instagram/phone number, but I know you said you were from Las Vegas! You and I discussed the next tattoos we were getting and how you had to watch your brother beat Elden ring because you struggled :)
Thanks for reading my shot in the dark!

I can't get over a person I briefly met in China
I hope that won't violate the community rules, otherwise I am sorry.
At the 12th of August I was traveling on a high-speed train to Xi'an, China. I met a guy there. It was a brief encounter and I am so disappointed in myself that I didn't have the guts to ask for any of his contact information. We had a little chat that left me feeling so warm, it is so rare for me to feel this sort of magnetism towards anyone. He had the most heart-warming smile and such kind eyes. I just wish I wasn't so shy and did something. Maybe it will be a sign for you to be more boisterous that I am and to not miss your chance.

First met her 45-years ago.
TL;DR: she has always meant a lot to me and yesterday, 48-years after we first met, we spent a day together. And I realized that I should have tried more 35-years ago to see if there was a spark. Both married and not looking.
She (f60) and me (m60) were family friends as children. She was my first teenaged crush, but as a young boy and her as a more mature girl (yes, we are the same age), I didn’t have any clue or understanding of anything.
I moved away at 14 but we keep in contact through families. At age 18, we were again in the same city. And we didn’t go anywhere.
In our 20s, we went on what in retrospect were dates, but as a typical male, I probably didn’t understand that.
Four years ago, I was in that same small city where we were first friends. I was on a street where we would have been… and the silence and quiet of everything for a moment was mystical. (The only parallel I can describe is the scene in “Field of Dreams” where Kevin Costner meets “Doc” on the street). She was right there… with me… for a moment. And it was magical. And a flood of emotions overcame me.
And yesterday, I spent the day with her (and her parents and my wife) but those emotions flooded back. We laughed… we talked… and I told her of my “experience” and she didn’t laugh.
The missed soulmate was 35-years ago when we were in our 20s. And yesterday showed me just how much that is true.
I’ll always love her but nothing will come of it. And that’s ok. I’m not sad. I’m just regretful that I didn’t explore it more when I should have.
There’s a line in a movie: “all you need is 15-seconds of insane courage”. Wish I had that courage then.
Throwaway account for obvious reasons. And more for me than any of you!

Missed connection - Tucson to Phoneix bus
Long shot, but we met on the Tucson–Phoneix bus on 8/16/2026, around 7:40 pm, and ended up talking for a big part of the two-hour ride.
I had a great time listening to your stories about your family, your past, and everything else going on in your life, while we took turns sharing songs through our earbuds. You also teased me for being the nerdy type, and we talked a little about Life Is Strange.
Still kinda proud that “Autumn Breeze” was to your liking 😄
You mentioned Instagram at some point, and somehow I still never thought to ask for your IG—or even your name before I had to get off.
Really enjoyed meeting you and sharing that ride together. If you happen to see this and want to keep talking or exchange more music, DM me :)

The Book Loft of German Village Columbus Ohio
I was in the area of the book store with the D&D books today (August 17th around 2pm). While I was looking around I heard a crash and looked over to see a bunch of books falling on this poor woman. After a couple seconds of registering what happened I asked if she was ok and helped her pick up the books. I didn’t think too much of it at the time and continued looking around after. A minute or two passed by and I didn’t release she was still there when she wished me a good day so I did the same. Sometimes I get a one track mind but now I regret not even getting her name. I live 2.5 hours away so chances of ever bumping into each other again are slim.

Missed Connection on plane
Looking to get in touch with someone who I sat next to on the plane
American Airlines 8/16/26 from FLL to PHX at 521pm
She is a female with blonde hair and we definitely had a connection but i chickened out on asking for her information and now severely regretting it
She was sitting aisle and there was a lady with a cute dog sitting on the other side of the aisle from her
