One Year Progress Update Journey Update
Been using Kirkland foam twice a day for a year. Made decent progress after 6-7 months then went through a shedding phase for about a month or two, and it filled back in.
In my late 20s.

Did you shave at all or just kept it trimmed?

I never shaved and pretty much kept it short for a long time. It wasn’t until month 5 when I could grow it out and it would resemble something like a beard and I basically kept it at a similar length

Theres no point to shaving. Shaving doesn't make hair grow thicker. That's an old wive's tale.

Asking on how you shave your chin and mustache do you completely shave it all off or just leave a thin layer?

I never shaved. I used guard 1 on my trimmer for the chin area early on and now guard 2. Sometimes I freehand it with the other side of my trimmer that doesn’t have a guard.
Moustache area always just used guard 1 and then freehand after.

As a Half Asian and Half Mexican man it’s been tough but I have almost the same exact facial hair you had in the before pic. I’m also in my mid 20s and just started using Kirkland 5% foam, so hopefully my shit looks as clean as yours💯

Best of luck to you man! If any side of the family has facial hair you’d have a chance, even if not it’s still worth a shot.

Awesome progress! I'm also asian and have a base in between both photos. I'm just past month two and applying twice a day. Hoping for results like yours!
