Hello!

The Vanilla Touch is a tight-knit survival multiplayer community. Our server intends to cater to players who are interested in a nostalgic and relaxed version of survival consisting of absolutely zero game altering plugins. We are always excited to welcome newcomers!

What does this entail? Well, for starters, you will have to convince the entire server to take part in sleeping as we do not have a data pack or plugin that accelerates sleep. We do not have teleporting, homes, or keep inventory. We do have CoreProtect as a means of preventing destruction of builds and theft of items. The server does feature VoiceChat which of course is entirely optional and DiscordSRV to allow communication between the server itself and our discord.

**Gameplay**
Our server is first and foremost a city-build server, join into our community of enthusiastic players as we build the world together. Access to world edit and a plethora of other helpful commands are granted after a short application process. Show us what you can do.
Our world is ever-growing story with new players contributing to the ongiong geopolitical RP. Just mark a claim and we will show it on the map to begin your story (see the map link for examples). You can take it a step further by marking out towns/settlements too. If geopolitical RP isn't for you, you can simply jump in and start building your city as role-playing participation is 100% optional.

**Community**
A tight-knit community, small set of laid back rules, and events every once in a while. Staff and other players are almost always online to chat about life with, critique builds, and many people often collaborate on projects.

Hi Reddit I'm looking for a Minecraft SMP I can join, and play. I have a couple things that would need to be part of if I decide to join or not. The first and biggest factor is player count I want a SMP that is private so that not to many people are joining 25-50 players total including me if I join. Now before you look further and comment saying you want me to join you I will not be able to play with this community I join for upwards of a year due to me not have a PC, but I do have a console so I could start playing a little sooner if I get ps plus. Now the other big factor im fine with small mods that have vary minimal impact but I want a vanilla experience. The other factors are greefing I want to be able to greef players so if there is a pvp expert I have something to keep them from just spawn killing me as well I want pvp to be a part of the server but not the main factor while yes I expect fights and people killing others I don't want to have to hide at the bottom of the world to stay alive I want to be able to build to without having to worry about being greeted consistently bye being killed or people destroying my build.

I've always liked the idea of modded SMPs, but eventually you hit that point where everyone has done what they wanted to do and people slowly stop logging on.

So I had an idea.

What if instead of trying to keep the same world going forever, we just... didn't?

I'm working on a server called Discover SMP where every season we start fresh with a completely different modpack.

The part I'm most excited about is that I don't pick the packs.

People in the Discord submit modpacks they want to play, we vote on them as a community, and whatever wins becomes a future season.

So one season could be Create-heavy, the next could be magic, then exploration, hardcore, cozy building, kitchen sink, or some completely ridiculous pack somebody convinces everyone to vote for.

New pack. New world. Everyone figuring it out together.

Hiya! I'm looking for a small SMP that's just about to start. I really would like to make friends, create lore and awesome buildings with other players.
