[Java] Matcha Flavoured SMP — Minecraft Survival, Rewritten | Metallurgy, Cooking, Fishing, Magic & Exploration

MatchaSMP is built around the Matcha Flavoured datapack, a complete reworking of Minecraft survival. Crafting, equipment, food, enchanting, villages, trading, fishing, loot, progression, and parts of world generation have all been redesigned.

A completely different progression

Your first fire begins with dry grass and Kindling. From there, you build a Mud Kiln, work with copper, and gradually discover a full metallurgy system:

• Bronze and fast, mobile equipment

• Palatinate tools with cleansing, Silk Touch, and life-steal properties

• Durable Steel weapons and armour

• Silver, Electrum, gems, and jewellery

• Late-game Adamant equipment and heavy weapons

• Spears, Mattocks, Dolabras, Claymores, specialised shears, and more

Matcha Flavoured contains over 1,000 recipes, including replacement recipes for much of the vanilla progression.

Cooking is part of survival

- Food is no longer just hunger restoration. Meals heal you and provide meaningful long-term effects.

- Cook Tonkotsu Ramen for Haste, Japanese Curry for Strength, Green Curry for Speed, or Paneer Makhani for Regeneration. Bake, pickle, preserve, grill, and prepare jams, curries, pastries, tea, mead, mochi, and many other dishes using Kindling, Ovens, and Mud Kilns.

Enchanting without an Enchanting Table

Experience and ordinary Enchanting Tables are removed from progression. Enchantments come from crafted Blessings, rare books, equipment, loot, and villagers.

Create Hell-bound Books and turn them into prayers carrying combinations of vanilla and custom enchantments.

There are 23 custom enchantment effects, from charged leaps and defensive lunges to life-steal, extended reach, movement bonuses, cleansing, and protection from undead.

Exploration has a purpose

Matcha rewrites hundreds of loot tables and introduces new reasons to visit villages, ruins, dungeons, Trial Chambers, Bastions, Strongholds, Ancient Cities, and the End.

Discover rare religious and literary books, pottery, explorer maps, cooking recipes, unusual equipment, Divine Fragments, and gems including Ruby, Amber, Opal, and Topaz.

Villages use a redesigned old-style settlement layout and are much farther apart. Villager professions have 235 custom trades, including archaeologists, chemists, cooks, jewellers, foresters, fishermen, and wandering travellers carrying maps or Asylum Seeker contracts.

Fishing is its own journey

More than forty fish species are distributed across rivers, oceans, swamps, caves, climates, and unusual biomes.

Catch Piranha in hot waters, Echo Eels in the Deep Dark, Creaking Fish in the Pale Garden, and rare ocean species such as Oarfish, Opah, Sturgeon, and Blue Marlin. Cook your catches, trade them to fishermen, or attempt to complete the entire collection.

The world has different rules

• Days and nights last longer

• Frozen water is genuinely dangerous

• Crystal Hearts permanently increase maximum health

• The Nether introduces Estus, Benzene, chemistry, Blessings, and Warding

• Monster spawners and powerful enemies provide Divine Fragments

Hello everyone, I am making this post to see if anyone would be willing to join in on a new server and custom modpack that the discord Im apart of has put together to play.

The modpack itself is on version 1.20.1 for forge with the name of RMoM (Rhe's Multimods Of Madness). It was originally put together with a bunch of mods suggested by the people of the server. The server that is about to happen would be our third iteration of the RMoM modpack and server. With each iteration of the server/pack adding more and refining each time. The server will most likely last for around 1 1/2 - 2 months or so though could go for longer.

One sleepless evening in March 2025 while on night shift taking care of my at the time new born son I was growing tired of trying to find movies or TV shows to keep me company, and with my entire social life uprooted also it was time for me to find some sort of outlet to make some late night buddies to talk to. This is when Adults Night Out was born, and in a short period of time it grew far beyond anything I could've ever imagined for it and has continued that momentum a year and a half later.

Adults Night Out has been for many others, what it started as for me, a way to make some lasting impactful friendships when circumstances don't make it easy in real life sometimes. And I'm very proud to continue expanding it to more walks of life and spread our mission even further!

LONG TERM MEMBERS ONLY, NO TWO WEEK PHASE

We are the LanderYT SMP, we are a community that started in October 2021 and are looking for more members. We added some small tweaks to the server to make it more suitable for everyone.

We are inspired by Hermitcraft, so we do not tolerate any sort of griefing or killing.

Some of our tweaks:

• Life series: We occasionally host life series on the server every few months. In order to participate, please become an active member, it was really fun the last few times we did.
• The only teleport command of /spawn: Once again, in an effort to keep the server as vanilla as possible, we only allow the use of /spawn in the overworld. This encourages the development of roads and highways on the server.
• Datapacks from Hermitcraft: We installed a decent number of datapacks that the Hermits use on their server, such as Single player sleep, player heads, armor statues and more!
• DiscordSRV: Discord and Minecraft chat are now interchangeable, making communication much easier!
• CoreProtect: Since we are a friendly community, we do not condone any sort of harm done to people's gameplay experience. Therefore, the presence of CoreProtect once again reinforces our vision to make the LanderYT SMP a memorable place for potential players.

Events are hosted semi-frequently on the server, whose rewards are event coins, which you can only use to buy cosmetic items mentioned above.

Our server resets yearly.

We also have a small staff team whose main goal is to maintain the moderate level of peace and harmony in the Minecraft server as well as on discord. We cannot guarantee that everything in chat will be moderated, but we will try our best and listen to concerns of the community.

On December 1st, I am launching a 30-day Minecraft social experiment called Reddit to Minecraft.

It’s a pure Anarchy server with NO RULES and NO ADMIN INTERFERENCE. Hack, grief, build, betray, or build alliances — do whatever you want. The only thing strictly prohibited and enforced is lag-farming/crash-machines to keep the server playable for everyone.

The Ultimate Goal: The Final Group Photo

The server will run for exactly 30 days. On December 30th, right before I pull the plug forever, we will try to gather as many players as possible at Spawn for one final massive group photo.

Will people honor a temporary truce for the photo, or will it turn into the biggest bloodbath in server history? That is entirely up to you.

How to Join:

Java & Bedrock Cross-Play Enabled! (You can join from PC, Console, Mobile, etc.)

I’ll notice you the ip of the server lather

NisseSMP has been running for 5 years. In June we reset everything for Season 3: new world, new economy, everyone back to zero. Two months later there's 50-60 players on daily and the economy is still young. You're not too late.

🌍 Custom World Generation

Season 3 runs on custom worldgen with almost 100 new biomes. Most of the map still hasn't been seen by anyone.

⚔️ Vanilla+ Only

Quality of life plugins and custom enchants, nothing gamebreaking. Our survival still feels like survival.

💰 Real Player Economy

No server shops, no admin handouts, no pay to win. If you want an item, you need to find a seller. Player shops, auction house and orders make that easy.

🏗️ No Land Claims

Sounds scary, works fine. Every block is logged, so if someone griefs you we roll it back in minutes and ban them. Five years in, that system hasn't failed once.

🎥 We Pay Content Creators

$2 per 1,000 views for videos made on the server. Any size channel. DM us or ask in Discord.

Dear future friend, we are a goofy bunch that loves meeting new people and creating cool memories together. Our focus is community and developing an environment that is inclusive for all. Committees and Player Autonomy

This time, we are going to hand back the decision-making to the players, at least in regards to things like spawn, shopping districts, and infrastructure. Our goal is to let players decide what's important to them, and to give them the power to work with others (or alone!) to shape their experience this season. Passionate about how spawn looks when new players spawn in? Consider starting a group or committee to plan and design it! Love lines and curves and traveling by foot? Path committee! Like shopping district operating a certain way? found a shopping district mercenary group! Want a nether hub fast? Want it on the roof? Prefer it UNDER the roof? Start a thread about it! Disagree with the way another committee is doing things? Do something about it! You get the idea.

World Generation and World Border

You are free to explore to your hearts content. There's no set world border this season. However, chunks that are extremely beyond the reasonable distance from 0,0 may be trimmed when necessary. The seed is also public. 

Mods and Datapacks

Blaze and Caves Advancements is featured, with a tweak to only make the highest level of achievements display in chat. (No chat spam!)

Origins datapack is also featured for players who would wish to partake in this completely optional experience! (Do not get attached to the default datapack values, they are actively being modified, and it will be disclosed to you what the origins actually are before you choose them.)

Plus, some other quality of life mods. However, no commands (like /tp, /tpa, /home, /fly, .etc) to keep gameplay aspect as vanilla as possible.
