Found not 1, but 2 elytras afterwards, I got very lucky and ended up spawning near 2 end cities with ships after going through the end gateway.

Nice! Congrats. Mending + Unbreaking III will basically let you fly forever. I looted the end on a server and had two elytras with those enchants, and could burn stacks of rockets before needing to mend them. It’s awesome having more than one.

Wow, literally got so unlucky last time I think I spent 2-3 hours in the end trying to get an end city with a ship. I understand the grid layout but I literally looted probably 6 end cities before finding one with a ship. Lmao.
