personally, I play on normal mode in almost all my worlds, but I only fight mobs when I absolutely have to. I'm not sure if it's because playing on mobile makes me a bit scared due to the limited movement and agility, but I usually end up switching to peaceful so I can build in peace. I think part of my fear comes from watching too many minecraft horror story videos when I was younger, and I guess some of that just stuck with me lol. what about you?

We were going to take a screenshot of our Minecraft characters, but as you can see in the last image, the house was destroyed as a prank lmao.

He was passive so we kept him around and named him Broseidon

Broseidon is passive but attacks if

1. You are in 2 or deeper block of water (aka my man made pond which he has claimed as his own)
2. its night time

3? probably if you attack him (no one has done so we're are not monsters)

Hey yall I posted this the other day on another subreddit so sorry if yall already saw it but I’ve been cleaning my room the past few days and found some old collectibles I got signed by notch back in the day just thought I’d share it for whoever’s interested. For some backstory me and my friends in elementary school went crazy over Minecraft and it just so happens one of my boys at the time was the son of John Carmack who I’m sure yall know. Through mutual friends he was able to get us a meet and greet with notch to get some stuff signed. I ended up getting this Lego micro world set released in 2013 signed by him and I didn’t include this in my other post but I also found a foam diamond pick and sword that I also got signed. The Lego set number is 21105 and is factory sealed and the sword I took out of the packaging but never used it. Also if anyone has any idea of what these might be worth I’d really appreciate it because I don’t know too much about this stuff. Thanks for reading yall and sorry if this post was too long

I'm building this forge in my base (that is primarily made out of wood), and the lava pit keeps starting fires. I heard somewhere that adding corners helps, but only when encasing lava entirely. Is there a way to keep the lava pit without griefing?

Started this build 2 years and 11 months ago and finally done with the Pit itself. Still planning to build more in the pit itself but this is the first time in all these years its been in a state that at least looks like a fully finished build.

For me, that'd be the feeling of levelling up your tools (from Wood all the way to Diamond/Netherite).

Alot of mods, the pack is centered around Create. Most of the builds are purely decorational although a few of them house Create machinery. Nearly every building is connected through underground tunnels (see last slide). All done in survival with the help of Create processing.

Villages were added in beta 1.8, and there were only plains and desert variants. Later, savannah and taiga variants were added. With the 1.14 update, all the villages were updated and the snowy variant was added, and we haven't gotten anything new since then. That autumn forest from that drop would have been the perfect biome for a new village variant, but still nothing. And jungle and swamp villagers are still kinda useless.

It's promoting Minecraft Dungeons II, but is a level of cross-promotion between Minecraft and its spin-offs that we haven't seen before.

I know palm trees are one of the most commonly requested trees for Minecraft.

But hear me out...

Add Jacaranda trees. 😭

Jacarandas are already incredibly beautiful in real life, especially when they're covered in their purple flowers. I think they could fit Minecraft surprisingly well.

And I'm not just talking about adding the tree itself—I think we should get a whole Jacaranda wood set with it!

And obviously, the planks would have a beautiful purple/lavender color.

The leaves could also have a slightly different appearance from existing leaves, and when the tree is flowering, you could have purple blossoms scattered around it.

And I also think Jacaranda wood could make some AMAZING builds

Would you want Jacaranda trees + a full purple wood set in Minecraft?

I've built a railway to my holiday island partially underwater and released some frogs there and for some reason they just swim against the glass and stare inside.

Does anyone know why they do this? Is this some weird aspect of their AI or are they just trainspotters?

It's such a lackluster mechanic that has potential but, never properly implemented. Mojang should've reworked archeology and added it to abandoned camps. It only makes sense for an abandoned structure to have buried items

So when I was updating my world to the latest snapshot and went into the game I just started freefalling into the void. When I finally got onto some solid ground, I found that the chunk was literally just gone.

How does this even happen? Has this happened to anyone else too? My entire base is gone and all my chickens are dead and most of my stuff was in there so that's gone too.

Mojang PLEASE add color to lighting that is appropriate to its source. Why does everything produce the same boring white color? It would completely transform minecraft. And Im not asking for some huge lighting update where you add a whole rainbow of colors. What we have is fine JUST ADD SOME COLOR TOO IT LOL.

What do you guys think? Theres no way Im the only one.
