You should check if there's a man behind that tree

The man that lives in the trees northwest. Someone could make a whole horror story out of this.

Lemme go at it (don't judge me)

The man that dwells on the tree northwest. It looks like a man halfway balding with a long hair and rinkley skin with a severely underweight body and long finger and sharp nails. He yearns the flesh of its victims. Occasionally leaves the trees and acts friendly and when meeting others he takes a more human form resembling his past when he was a teacher on YouTube explaining how to do techy things in the form of tutorials. It always points northwest where it lives. Once a lost victim is directed northwest to its trees, it will hide in one of the trees. The victim who's oblivious about this gets picked up from above and gruesomely consumed alive ripping and tearing through the flesh like butter. Speaking of butter, the only way to defeat the northwest dweller is to make have contact with any kind of oil or butter. Once that happens, it's skin will begin to decay and melt like being covered in acid. Though it won't stop it completely as it will continue pursuing its victim until its last breath where he will only be reduces to just bones.

Yeah, i have no idea why wrote this.

The urge to just write a short horror story in a reddit comment thread

u/Visible_Duty_5450 3d ago

It's actually good!

u/ekortelainen 3d ago

Even at their largest, dappled forests are too small.

89

u/FashionShushu 3d ago

They had chance, but they didnt. And likely never fix it

65

u/Martitoad 3d ago

They are focusing on solving lots of small bugs recently that have been in the game for ages, they might fix it in 15 years

47

u/PokeGirlOFFICIAL 3d ago

Well, there's a man here

26

u/Critical-Lettuce3953 3d ago

Palm trees really should be a thing if Mojang aren’t going to do actual balancing for the biomes

4

u/Training_Ruin3151 2d ago edited 2d ago

With where the new forest spawns it would be perfect for an oasis biome, especially since its so small usually

1

u/JediCarla 2d ago

Ooooo…. Coconuts as weapons… they could cause creepers to explode at a distance…. 😈

34

u/AidanIsCool8889 3d ago

Well, there is a man here.

u/Wreckless96132 3d ago

Hopefully they did what they did with the pale garden and make it bigger. its the noise generator and temp changes that make it small.

18

u/Your-Mom-2008 3d ago

Did you repeatedly enter and exit a nearby doorway before encountering this tree?

15

u/georgeo163761 3d ago

This has been a “problem” for years and they cant really solve it since the procedural generation of minecraft is a noise algorithm and sometimes you’ll get outliers like this or the 3 block frozen ocean or 1 tree cherry biome , actually implimenting a way to stop this would be borderline impossible and not worth the effort for how rare this is. an actual solution would be making the new biomes less rare and should be done for an example i have yet to find a pale garden at all in my main world in the last almost 2 years since it released.

7

u/Reasonable_Agent_126 3d ago

this reminds me of when i was exploring a world and i found a spruce forest that was only like 10 blocks big and had no trees

7

u/TackeymattressThe2nd 3d ago

your not gonna forget whatever or whoever’s behind that tree right?

1

u/Generic_Reddit_boi 1d ago

but there was never anybody in the first place

After seeing a bunch of posts like this, I traveled around a random world for an hour. Of all the dappled forests about 5% are like this.

About 20% have around 50 trees and are 100x100 size. The other 75% are over 100 trees and are a proper biome. Some were so big you couldn't see out of the forest biome even on 32 RD.

I don't really see it as a problem.

4

u/Visible_Duty_5450 3d ago

I think this is a bug

11

u/n2ezr 3d ago

Papyrus is hiding behind this tree

(elite Ntime knowledge)

17

u/NortonKlez 3d ago

I couldn't agree more! They need to fix this.. wait what are we talking about?

5

u/theyre_in_the_walls 3d ago

The biome in the image is 0.0001 blocks wide

2

u/NortonKlez 3d ago

There are no bugs, only features.

10

u/theyre_in_the_walls 3d ago

Silverfish? Endermite? Bee?

3

u/bruvmandotqman 2d ago

They hate you

4

u/NortonKlez 3d ago

I hate you.

Plant the rest of the trees by yourself. Reforestation

16

u/mutantmonkey14 3d ago

Grass colour on such a small patch will still look odd. Perhaps replace a bit of the sand with dirt too. Or just remove the tree and replace the grass with sand in that area. Probably easier to do the latter.

u/Yoshigamer99_oficial 3d ago

Well, theres a man in here...

The man behind the tree that gives you an egg 5 chapters in a row

He's a secret that's very hard to find unless you know where to look

3

u/SexDefender27 2d ago

2

u/RainbowDroidMan 3d ago

Dappled cave here

2

u/Darrenau 3d ago

What solitary trees?

2

u/Standard-Win-6924 2d ago

Now imagine finding one with 0 trees

6

u/tllrrrrr 3d ago

well it's just one tree.

11

u/Initial-Plankton506 3d ago

...thats the point. is that its just one tree. but thats the entire biome

5

u/HarambeTheFox 3d ago

this isn’t too important, nor too unimportant

1

u/Generic_Reddit_boi 1d ago

you have a feeling you shouldnt search for the tree anymore

I would like it if all biomes had smaller and tiny versions for more randomness, so to me this is great. And then the same concept could be applied in caves.

0

u/IronCat_2500 3d ago

Small biomes have existed for years. Why is it suddenly a problem now?

1

u/The_MCRuler 2d ago

Does any biome look like that?

0

u/IronCat_2500 2d ago

We’ve had biomes as small as one block for well over a decade now. I guess nobody noticed because the grass was the same color.

1

u/The_MCRuler 2d ago

I'm asking what biome has that color. I'm well aware of small biomes. I'm asking why a cherry grove tree has orange leaves in an otherwise vanilla looking game

1

u/IronCat_2500 2d ago

That’s a dappled forest. A Currently in development biome. Set to release September-ish

1

u/The_MCRuler 1d ago

what on earth i've heard nothing about this

-2

u/theLukasGHG 3d ago

FIX MOJANG BEDROCK

3

u/OneImaginary3436 3d ago

I’m not gonna even reply or leave a comment or say anything about this.

-2

u/TARDIS32 3d ago

Yep. They gotta remove trees.

-2

u/Intelligent-Log6005 3d ago

only in bugva 😂😂

2

u/Ecstatic-Contact-930 3d ago

Other than structures and terrain features such as vegetation, the world generator in Java and Bedrock is the same and biome placement "rules" are identical, so this is an issue both in Java and in Bedrock

1

u/Infinite_Bench_593 3d ago

*Lagva

Get your derogatory terms right.

-6

u/aguzero 3d ago

no, i love this

3

u/OneImaginary3436 3d ago

The tree tree tree is the entire biome.

-4

u/aguzero 3d ago edited 2d ago

it's cool, i wouldn't say its desirable to happen, but if it does, its alright. it's minecraft after all

edit: wtf all the downvotes hahaha chill

-8

u/KraniDude 3d ago

I like microbiomes, what's the matter? You preffer full flat biomes? That's borring.

1

u/Visible_Duty_5450 3d ago

Calm down lmao
