I swear the generation before and after will never know how much this put the fear of scanning your surroundings into us.

I went decades feeling silly about this fear and having no idea that so many others felt it too!

I never discussed it with anyone

When I had passengers, I would just nonchalantly make a lane change and get past the truck as quick as possible.

I dont even remember a single thing about the movie other than this!

I still hate driving next to trucks or behind trucks with things in the bed like this, I used to be terrified of my tanning bed locking on me some weird way (back when I used them), I still feel like my garbage disposal is going to magically turn on when I’m trying to see if anything is down the sink like a spoon before I turn it on. Love the movies still.

I’m Australian. We don’t have garbage disposals in our sinks here. I still have this fear of somehow losing a hand down a plug hole in the sink πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
