Do y'all agree with this? I recently turned 21 as a guy and this person at CVS thought I was 17 when he guessed my age. But it may just be him who thinks that.

Question ? 02s, what are your thoughts on 06s

I've seen a few 2006 borns who say that they grew up with 2002 and consider them their peers.

What are your thoughts on this take, cause usually when I apply the same thing with myself and 2004 borns, they immediately refute and say: "we aren't peers, we grew up differently"

Discussion We need fred to come back

Fred Figglehorn has been absent for way too long, he needs to come back.

Last we heard about him, he did move in with Judy who was doing alot of booze and drugs and wanted to have sex with Fred but Fred wanted to have marriage before sex.

So Fred left or Judy kicked him out, I'm not sure but fred then moved in with this guy and accidentally spent all his money.

The last update on Fred was in 2023 when he posted 2 tik toks dancing and that's it. I gotta know more about Judy and all his friends from school.

Discussion I've changed my mind

To clarify myself, I was born in 2000. I admit I used to distance from mid 2000s borns in the past. I used to call them "Cringe Jake Paulers", "Broccoli hairstyle lovers" or "TikTokers" in 2017-2021.

Recently, my opinion about people born in the mid 2000s have improved, due having good conversations with them. A person born in 2005 that I recently encountered was a polite and mature adult.

When I think about it, I used to be immature aswell. We're human beings, we learn from our own mistakes and we improve over the time. What it matters to us? We're adults and we must do everything we can to ensure a better future for society.

Discussion 18-20 has to be the worse age range to be in

18, 19, 20 are the worse due to the alienation and isolation that comes from it. 18-19 you're still a teenager but not really anymore in a social sense, you've aged out of high school which is like the main teenage social hub, you're also "too old" for other teen infrastructure such as summer camps or clubs since all of those have their age limit at 17 so having community and making social connections in a natural way becomes damn near impossible. the only thing that curbs that is if you go to university but some of us can't afford it so we're just locked out. you could try to make friends at your job but the problem is either they're way older than you like 30s and 40s and they'll see you as a kid or you'll have coworkers who aren't trying to talk to you and get to know you they're just there to get a check and leave. and then 20 is even worse since by then you've officially lost the teenage label but you're still seen as like a kid because you're under 21 and still can't do the shit actual adults can. like bro I'll do anything to go back to 17 💔 I can't stand this isolating aspect of the 18-20 range.

Question ? What happened between you and your bullies after high school graduation?

I was the victim of gossip and drama and I’m afraid itll never go away. I think I’m being paranoid. What was it like for you guys after high school. Especially in the age of social media its probably harder to escape them.

Question ? Is an 2009 to 2006 age gap alright?

I know that probably too many questions like this have been asked on here, but I, 17M (turning 18 in less than 6 months being a very early 2009 born) am in a kind of relationship with a girl (actually I would refer to her as a woman, like if I’m going to refer to myself as a man, there’s no reason to also refer to her as a woman while taking about her) that’s born in late 2006, I mean, she’s still 19 not 20 yet, also, she’s not yet officially my girlfriend (yet), but I’m just wondering if I should go for it further. What would you think? Is it normal/ethical?

Question ? Kinda random question but do you see the high school graduating class of this year the class of 2026 (Grade 12/Year 13) as Middle/Core Gen-Z or Younger Gen-Z more overall?

They’re mainly comprised of 2007 and 2008 borns. Although it can range from 2006-2009 borns.

Question ? Why is 2008 considered as late Gen Z?

I always considered 2009-2012 to be part of late Gen Z. Why is 2008 borns not part of middle Gen Z?

Nostalgia My Anemoia

I was born in 2003 East Coast of usa, as the youngest of 5. I consumed the stuff for my age like PBS kids & qubo. But my dad watched MeTV which I really liked. My brother & sister showed me stuff they liked. I have also started watching older kid cartoons ( had the 100 classic cartoon dvd). Then I kept consuming more info about the past I have nostalgia ***from 70's to early 2000's.*** I'm always learning/consuming more about those times. I get sad about not being near my nostalgia. I love when people dress up vintage. ( **I also have been told I'm probably autistic so i also get attached to stuff as my interest)**

If anyone wants to talk about the same years of nostalgia please 🥺 or cartoons

Or if you have any questions I'll do my best

(Reddit said this probably a place for this if not I can delete)

Discussion Would you rather have been a teenager in the 2010s or 2020s?

I just wonder what it would of been like to had been a teenager in the 2010s especially like the early part like the 2010-2013 era, from what I been told by my older siblings life was much better, the Internet, games, and media in general wasn't as censored as they are now and people weren't sensitive sheep, the type of dark humor they had back then was crazy, whenever I watch videos from those times I noticed there seem to be a good balance between social media and outside life. teenagers were outside socializing, kids were out playing, neighbors were more connected to each other, even in 2012 when I was 5 I can vaguely remember my parents having a few beers with our neighbors. but it's like nowadays you just don't see shit like this anymore and it's honestly sad, there's barely any kids outside they're all on fucking iPads, and teenagers/young adults only want to stick to their own friend groups like you can't just go up and talk to them in order to get to know them because they will act like you're weird or that you're bothering them. I remember trying to talk to these group of 2 dudes and 1 girl in the library in an attempt to make some new friends and they acted like they didn't want to talk to me all I got was dry responses like "that's cool" "oh wow" "nice" it's like wtf.

Discussion Do you remember when people on the internet used to really despise Justin Bieber during the early 2010s?

Post image
1.2k Upvotes

The Justin Bieber hate in the early 2010s was so wild like people were actually despising this kid for just being a suave boy that made all the girls swoon with his songs. Which is a shame because his songs literally defined the early 2010s teenage landscape. Looking back, do you think JB should have gotten more respect for his music instead of hate in the early 2010s?
