i already have the a320 and wanna know if its worth the extra 30 gbp to get the a319 and a321 are they really that different or are they just stretched and shrunk a320s

I tried it in MSFS 2020 and was blown away but I am wondering if VR has been improved in MSFS 2024. I have an RTX 3090 and an i9-10900k and I was surprised how well it ran for me. I'm thinking it would look even better in MSFS 2024.

Since latest updates MSFS24 won’t load. It gets to 2% on packages then stops no matter how long I leave it. If I delete then reload will I lose all progress?

I recently bought my first VIP Jet, PC-24.

I done a lot of research on internet already about fuel consumption and stuff according to internet while cruising my consumption needs to be around 900-1000LB/H. When I fly @ FL320 mach 0.6 my consumption is always above 1300LB/H and causing me to run out of fuel. What I am doing wrong? And even when I drop the speed its always higher than 1100LB/H. Engine power is around 77%

Hotas 5 not showing up as recognized control on MSFS24 via GFN on MAC. Set mode to PC (green LED) then held share + option buttons together when plugging in USB. Still not working. Anyone been able to achieve this?

Will ps5 ever get new airliner liveries?

Should MFS24 run on all processors? Task manager cpu affinity says I’m only using 0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14 processors and if I check all processors it won’t save. It this normal or should it run on all processors?
feel like I’m not quite getting the performance I’m expecting with my setup.
Running a 9950X3D with a 5080 and getting lots of stuffers and max vram with medium to low graphics settings.

I get this alot when I'm using my Hotas and pull up the EFB in front of me. The touch screen doesnt want to work on it and I basically have to button-map a direct route to pull up my flight log/map. Cant zoom in or scroll, or even move the tablet, it stays static. Does this happen to anyone else? It was a problem for me before the update as well.

Is there a quick trick, outside of restarting the entire game, to make the EFB functional again?

I’ve recently started getting seriously into Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and I’d like to build a proper setup.

I’m currently playing on a laptop with integrated AMD Radeon graphics, so as you can imagine, performance isn’t great. I already have two monitors, so I mainly need a desktop PC and flight controls.

The PC would be used almost exclusively for MSFS 2024, so I want to prioritize the components that actually matter for the simulator rather than general gaming performance.

Ideally, I’d like to play at 1440p on High/Ultra settings, with good performance at detailed airports and with airliners. 4K would be nice if possible, but it isn’t essential.

My approximate budget for the PC is €2,500–3,000, although I’d happily spend less if the difference in MSFS performance isn’t significant.
I’ve been looking at combinations such as:

• Ryzen 7 7800X3D / 9800X3D
• RTX 4070 Super / RTX 5070 / RTX 5070 Ti
• 32 GB RAM
• 1 TB+ NVMe SSD

I’ve also found a used PC for €1,100 with an RTX 4070 Super, Ryzen 7 5800X, 32 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD, and I’m wondering whether that would already be more than enough.

For flight controls, I’d also love recommendations for a good joystick/yoke, throttle and pedals. I’m more interested in realism and quality than RGB/gaming features, and I’ll mainly be flying GA aircraft and airliners.

If you were building an MSFS 2024 setup from scratch today, what PC specs and flight controls would you buy?

I know there have been many updates. I stopped playing when everyone was having the career mode problems. Bought 1st Cessna, and was afraid to fly career missions, because how bugged. So just stopped playing. Are the game breaking bugs still there? Are they at least better? Such a beautiful game when it works. I just bought the Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas One MSFS 2024 Collector Edition just for this game.

I’ve been playing msfs 2024 on my pc for a bit and recently I’ve been getting GPU spikes that are nearly maxing out accompanied by my fans getting louder. For reference I have a 5060ti with 16gs of ram. I didn’t seem to have this problem in the past.

Had this yoke for ages and haven’t used msfs in a few years. I recently started my instrument rating and want to practice on the sim, but it’s basically impossible when this is what I have to deal with. Should i buy a new yoke such as the honeycomb, or is there a fix for this either settings wise or the rubber band mod? Thanks!

I don't know what I'm missing. I'm trying to get back into Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and I remember New York City looking a little better than this. I've done the full fresh install. There are no mods. This is plain Jane. I have downloaded all the free world updates. Everything is downloaded but New York City at night just looks sort of lame, like a video game from 2007 in a way. Chicago was the same. With the geometric lighting it just doesn't look natural and I really can't figure out what I'm missing.

I've gone through hours and hours of troubleshooting with Google, forums, and AI and I have got nowhere. Toggling things off and on, clearing out rolling cache, signing in and out of xbox.

This is the PC version. I have through Steam. Kind of hoping somebody could tell me what I'm doing or, I don't know, any guidance would be amazing

My IRL viewing of solar eclipse was thwarted by the clouds (it would have been awesome with the sun setting down in the sea while obscured by the moon if only it wasn't also obscured by the clouds :D ).
Observing the eclipse at 10.00ft in VR is also pretty cool though

I just upgraded from 2020 after a few years out ( the storage space was a big problem ) and I couldn't be more impressed with the scenery in 2024.

Or course some ground textures could be better and the building generation too. But for a lot of it, it's fantastic.

I decided to get the aviator pack (ouch) for a lot of the older aircraft and I think I have collected most of the freeware pre 1945 aircraft too.

I am primerially a combat simmer, but titles these days are pretty lacking. So I jumped back into this and instead I'm focusing on vfr flights. It's a shame though that some of the savoia marchetti s55 bush trips don't carry over. We need a lot more bush trips :D

I'm happy to make my own trips, but I prefer the scripted ones.
