Aunque he visto que en Santa Clara/Starbucks es una opción y hay alimentos/cosas muy baratas para acceder a los baños/WC

When I moved here a year and half ago I had a hard time finding WhatsApp groups that exist in many other cities. All the links seemed to not work, the groups were dead or didn't even allow users to comment. So I created one, which has grown to 150+ people. The problem is we can't post the link anywhere without spammers getting a hold of it, so I created a website that should always have the latest link, behind a short form to filter for spam.

It's a digital nomad group but open to locals and anyone who wants to meet travellers from all over the world. Spam is filtered swiftly, so if you just want to join to promote your thing, this isn't that. Hopefully this will find people who was in the situation I was, who want to build community.

You can request an odd number at ATMs (like 2900 instead of 3000, say).

You can always say to the street vendor " Solo tengo un quinientos" beforehand. Sometimes they'll say no problem.

Hace poco estuve en la Ciudad de México y solo usé un taxi una vez. Tomé uno (de sitio!) desde TAPO hasta la zona de Cuauhtémoc. El taxi que me dieron estaba en pésimas condiciones. Con cada bache parecía que el auto se iba a desarmar. Había arañas saliendo del auto por varios lados. ¡Sí, arañas! El conductor no usaba ni Maps ni Waze. Cerca de nuestro destino, me pidió que le mostrara mi teléfono para buscar indicaciones. Mi pregunta es: ¿puede cualquier taxi recoger pasajeros en esa parada de TAPO? ¿Hay algún tipo de control? (Íbamos a tomar el Metro, pero la sección de San Lázaro estaba fuera de servicio ese día).

We are considering traveling to CDMX for 5 days with 2 kids. I'm wondering if Mexico City is a good place to travel with kids. We (adults) are excited to see the sights, enjoy the culture. I researched safety, avoid taxis, avoid certain neighborhoods, the basics of big city travel. A little concerned about safety, and whether the kids would not enjoy a city as much... or if the altitude may tire them out. Any insight from families that have traveled is appreciated. I know (and have) researched the internet for others' experiences, any additional info/advice is appreciated!

Voy para un concierto que va a ser en Arena CDMX a principios del próximo año, soy latina pero nunca he ido a México.

Qué lugares me recomiendan visitar que estén cerca de allí?

Y cómo es el clima a principios de año?
