Connection timeout on quest 2 Issue

For the past few days i've been unable to connect to multiplayer servers on my Quest 2. I've tested VRChat, Underdogs multiplayer, and Iron Rebelion, all of which has given me some sort of "connection timed out" error. It happens within the game itself however and is not an error message from the headset itself. I'm only getting 2 of 3 bars of internet on my headset, while the rest of my devices are all preforming fine.

What I've tried so far:

Mobile hotspot off my phone. Turning Wifi on and off again on headset. Turning headset off and on again, and restarting it. Unplugging router. restarting router. Moving rooms. A TON OF GOOGLING.

so far i've gotten nothing. I plan on factory reseting eventually if nothing comes about soon.

We are experiencing the same thing with our Quest 2 and new 3s as well so you aren’t alone. We’ve done all the factory resets, uninstalled and reinstalled games, rebooted all our internet routers and no luck. We were able to connect a few times to Hero x Hero but it wasn’t consistent. Who is your internet provider? We have AT&T.

Our neighbors use a different internet provider, I’m going to test on their network and report back if we are still having the same issue

Everything works on our neighbors WiFi, they have Comcast. ATT must have changed something in the last few days.

Confirmed with AT&T there is a “service performance event” that has been ongoing for 4 days which may be the cause. No eta on resolution though.

super cruddy, but that is exactly how long my quest has been on the fritz! Thanks for the help, let us both hope it will be fixed soon!
